This is a family-run and cozy inn.It was an old-fashioned room without a bath or toilet, but it was spacious and clean. The futon was also good, so I was able to get a good rest. The price was low and I liked it.

I did not stay overnight, butWe had a kaiseki meal for lunch. This was a few years ago,It's voluminous and not too expensive. There is a courtyard, and you can also go out to the veranda. The room I was allowed to use was quite large. It seemed like they were also using it during their stay.It was used by 10 people.A long-established inn that has been in operation for over 350 years. It seems that it was open when Takatsuki Castle was still in existence. It's about 10 minutes from the station. There is also a parking lot.

I stayed here because it was only 15 minutes away from Kyoto. It's convenient to go around the shopping district.

I can put up with the old-fashioned rooms and shared bathrooms. However, it would be better to do something about the fact that the employees are not friendly from above.

A retro inn with the scent of the Showa era.The old lady, the landlady, is also kind. Those who know the Showa era will appreciate the nostalgic atmosphere, but today's young people may not like it.My family of three has used it many times.Although it is old overall, the room is larger than other hotels for the same price, so three people can sleep comfortably. Some of the rooms have been converted into washlets. It's built like an old Japanese house, so it's cool in the summer, but a little cold in the middle of winter.I've only stayed without meals or with breakfast, so I don't know what the dinner is like, but the breakfast is a normal Japanese breakfast menu, and the miso soup and rice are delicious. It's right in front of the station, so you don't have to worry about finding a place to eat, so staying overnight without meals is no problem. It's a ryokan that I personally like, so I hope it continues to do its best even during the coronavirus pandemic.
