2024 A new signboard has been installed asking people to wear life jackets. I wonder if it's a countermeasure for fatal water accidents every year.

We went this year as well as last year!Playing in the river in the middle of nature is the best! You can borrow life jackets for free, so feel free to use them! Please be careful as the water near the bottom of the bridge is so deep that even my husband, who is 180m tall, can't reach it.Also, there are some slippery rocks here and there, so be careful where you step!(I fell down.)

It was the Obon holiday, so it was crowded with lots of people! We were given life jackets for free, so the whole family was able to play in the river with peace of mind.At the red bridge, we were able to unload our luggage and rent transportation equipment free of charge, which was very helpful! This year, we based ourselves under a large tree on the opposite bank and enjoyed the shade.I would like to thank the administrator for his kind and courteous response!

I went there for the first time around early August 2024 to play in the river.I have posted a lot of photos, so I hope you find them helpful.*Kawasa Gorge is across the red bridge from the free parking lot. The river in front of the parking lot looked like it would be fun, so I went down to the riverbank, but I had to climb the stairs again. ⇒Of course, you can also play on the riverbank.*There is a reception counter in the administration building, but there is no need to register unless you are using the campsite. It's free too! (Only when using camping)*The changing room is small, only accommodating 2.3 people, but it is convenient because there are free dial lockers.*Life jackets are available for free rental. Go to the waterslide reception area, fill out the form with your name, address, and phone number, and there are sizes for children to adults. The flow of the river and the structure of the river bed are unpredictable, so life jackets are not an exaggeration but are necessary to protect your life.*There are shops selling snacks, drinks, shaved ice, etc. inside the park, and there are also table seats inside the log house. We bought fried noodles, frankfurters, croquettes, and bottled tea. Business hours are until 15:00!*Free rest areaThe JR Fukuen Line runs through the side, so it's recommended for people who love trains.*There is a shower room in the back of the restroom ⇒ Free cold shower, 100 yen hot shower, convenient because you can stop after 3 minutes and start again. The changing area was also spacious which was nice.*There is only one person at the reception desk in the administration building, so they are busy answering calls for camping reservations...However, in my case, when I asked about a problem with my locker, they kindly responded.*The waterslide has morning and afternoon time slots, but you can slide as much as you like for 550 yen a day! There are three people in charge, so it's safe. It's for people over 120cm, but unfortunately my grandchild...◎There are two types of river activities: deep and flowing, and shallow where you can come into contact with fish and snails. It can be slippery due to the sphagnum moss, so marine shoes are recommended. Sandals can be taken off when swimming...It is safe to sit down and enter the water. There are large rocks on the riverbed, so I scrape and hit my knees. It's a good idea to swim while floating with a float or life jacket. You can find a place to rest anywhere on the riverbank with a leisure seat or tent.As long as users are careful about safety and manners, they can spend their time freely and enjoy themselves.⚠Pets cannot be taken to areas beyond the bridge. Therefore, people with pets used the river near the parking lot instead of crossing the red bridge. There are different ways to enjoy playing in the river than at the sea. It is well managed and is recommended as a place where you can enjoy nature to the fullest. Summer is the best, but I'd also like to visit during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.

I come here every year, but apparently the management company has changed this year. As usual, I parked my car in front of the bridge after 8:30, dropped off my luggage, and entered the reception. I was told by a person from the new management company that it would start at 9:00. I still had time, so I left my luggage near the reception and parked my car. When I got back to the parking lot, I was told that I couldn't get in until 9 o'clock in front of the bridge, so I had to wait in the scorching sun even in the morning. The child was sweating profusely and his face was bright red because he couldn't find water or a parasol in his luggage. Also, the person claiming to be from the new management company was very intimidating and was wearing glasses.

Summer 2024! I come every year, but it seems like the management has changed and it has been outsourced this year.I was told that entry was only allowed from 8 o'clock, the shops were in poor condition, and there was no beer available, which was very disappointing.Orange juice was sold out before noon! I don't think there will be another next year.Hey! Fuchu city! If you are outsourcing, please make an announcement on the website and clarify any changes to the service content!Hey! A commissioned management company! At least provide the same service as before!

I went in the first week of September. We arrived at 10:20 and there were already several groups. Since it was my first time, I didn't understand the system, so I parked my car in the parking lot, carried my luggage, and went to the administration building, but they were gone and no one was there. In the end, I returned to the bridge and set up a tarp tent on the opposite bank, and when I asked the people ahead of me, I learned that it was free to play in the river on the opposite bank without crossing the bridge. However, barbeques are not allowed, so if you want to have a barbeque, you have to pay at the administration building and do it at each site. You can unload your luggage at the unloading area at the foot of the bridge, and then move it to the parking lot. All the regularsThat's what I did.

Water slides are for elementary school students and older, and heights of 120 cm and above. The pool at the landing point is 100cm deep.550 yen per personUntil 16:00.There was an attendant in the free parking lot, so I was able to park smoothly. The rocks on the riverbed are rough and there is algae, making it slippery. It is better to bring something like sandals that you can wear underwater.Life jackets are available for rent.
