It is the most popular free camping site in southern Hokkaido. Along the lakeside, the restrooms and water fountains are kept clean and there is ample parking, making it a great place for families or solo travelers.

Groups making noise, people leaving trash, night foxes scavengingUnlike in the past, crows stay here from morning till night, elderly people keep their radios on all day long, and the campground has become unmanageable.

Free campsite.The kitchen and toilets are also well maintained.Also convenient as a base camp site.If the sky is clear, you can also take pictures of the starry sky to the west.However, the manners and morals of users have deteriorated significantly. Especially the traces of direct fire are very visible. I want people to know that if such moral violations increase or continue, there is a possibility of closure or fees being imposed, and that camping is based on the premise that everything is your own responsibility and that ``a little bit'' does not work. I want you to keep this in mind.

It has all the basic facilities such as a kitchen, charcoal dumping area, and toilets, and is relatively clean. I think this is enough for free.At night, I heard a creepy cry and it turned out to be a bullfrog. I think it can't be helped because it's near a swamp, but there's a lot of noise coming at regular intervals, so it might be a problem for some people. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but...
