When I arrived there was a deer next to the signboard and I thought it was an ornament lolThere are big horses nearby and you can feel the Hokkaido atmosphere. This is a comfortable inn with spacious rooms and a very quiet location. However, since the door of the next room was close, I was a little concerned that I might hear people talking.

Thank you for helping us with our annual drive around Hokkaido during Golden Week. Initially, I had booked a hotel in Kushiro, but I suddenly became interested in Etopirika Village, which is located in the grassy plains of Kiritappu, so I changed my reservations in a hurry. We arrived in daylight and went to the town-run hot spring facility, where we took a relaxing bath to relieve our fatigue. The inn was quiet and there was nothing around it, and it felt like being in Scandinavia. It was comfortable, and the bed felt like it was wrapped around me, making it easy to fall asleep, and I had a good night's sleep. At night, I looked outside the front door to try and take a walk, but it was pitch black and I couldn't see my feet, so I got scared and turned away. When I woke up in the morning and went outside, I saw two deer walking in the meadow to my left. Breakfast consisted of fried eggs, toast, salad, sausage, milk, and hot coffee, and was enjoyed by all guests in the dining room. This is a very nice inn with warm hospitality from the host's family.

A lovely cottage in a stunning location on the cape. Run by a very nice couple who are passionate about the wildlife of the cape and run a non profit organisation for the conservation of seabirds. A great spot for seeing the local otters too

Since it is a guest house, there is no TV etc., but we were able to relax. Breakfast was also delicious. I may have been lucky, but I did see a sea otter.

It was a very quiet place. There was a hot spring nearby and it was very warm. It was so dark at night that I was afraid to go to the hot springs. Breakfast was homely and delicious.
