FRIshigaki was a really lovely apartment with a nice bed, cozy livingarea and a small kitchen. All new and modern. It was very clean, perfect working climatcontrol and also a washingmachine + dryer in the bath.Parking is free and dircet in front available. We highly recomend a car, because otherwise it is first a bit far from the city and second complicated to explore the rest of the absolutly beautiful and stunning Island.Fusaki Beach is just over the street and 3min walk through the Fusaki Beach Resort. If needed the Resort rents deck chairs and umbrella.Things which were not that good and because of that we knocked a star off, is the small kitchen witch isn't really there to cook serious dishes. It has only one cooking plate, one knife to slice your ingredients and two pans. One of them should be replaced because the floor inside the pan is badly damaged and you shouldn't cook with it anymore.Then there is a security camera at frontdoor inside the apartment. We didn't like that. It should be placed outside the apartment so the owner is still able to check who entered the apartment and the guests feel save about their privacy.Outside of the house there are a lot of geckos in the evening and other insects and animals. It is normal, Ishigaki is a tropical Island, you should keep that in mind. But inside the apartment we never had any problems with insects or anything like that.

The room is super and very clean, full of comfort. We used the kitchen just to prepare breakfast and it was ok. Maybe we wished to have more cutlery and glasses, we had to buy the plastic ones. No condiments are present if you want to cook lunch or dinner by yourself. We also bought a roll of twine to hang out the wet clothes. The washing machine and the dryer were very useful. Just one negative point: one day some other very noisy guests came in, we could hear bumps and loud steps at 6am and late in the evening. We wrote to the owner to get some support but we didn't receive any answer in 3 days. Overall a good place to stay (if you have a car).

Visit in October 2023I had a very comfortable stay. I think it's okay to repeat it.It was good point・The room is beautiful, stylish and clean・Water areas such as bathrooms and kitchens are also clean.・Number entry type key (the number was sent to you by email the day before your stay)・There is a minimum of tableware・There is a refrigerator/freezer- Comes with a dryer so there is no need to dry your laundry・Detergent provided (1 gel ball per night)・Enough bath towels and body towels・There are 2 beds and 2 sofa beds, so it can accommodate up to 4 people (the sofa bed may be small for a large man, but it is not a problem for 2 adults and 2 children).・Fusaki Beach is about 3 minutes walk- Responded courteously to inquiries over the phone.I wish I had this・Simple cleaning tools such as quick wipes, rollers, bathtub cleaning tools, etc.・Seasonings such as salt and pepper・Spoon and fork·rice cooker-Drainer for dishes (you can dry them by laying a towel on the edge of the kitchen)others・There were many small insects and geckos (I can't help it since it's Ishigaki Island)・Since there is only one IH stove, one frying pan and one pot, it is a little difficult to cook properly.・The food was surprisingly manageable (Fusaki Beach Resort is nearby, and there were a few restaurants for lunch or takeout within a 15-minute walk)・It's better to have a car, but you can get around the city (& remote islands), Kabira Bay, and Yaima Village by bus and taxi (buses (there are about 6 resort lines each up and down, so it takes some planning)・Bus stop is 3-5 minutes walk (Tojin Tomb or Fusaki Beach Resort)・Since it is along a moderate main road, you may be concerned about the sounds of large trucks and ambulances (although it is quiet at night)We hope this will help you choose your accommodation.
