Admission fee: Adults ¥500, Elementary and junior high school students ¥300, Infants free(For groups of 10 or more, adults ¥450, elementary and junior high school students ¥270)・Free parking*Pets not allowed・Camping fee: ¥2000 per night (reservation required)*No tent rentals・Shower fee: 20 minutes ¥200 (available 24 hours)The cafe is open from 11:00 to 17:00 (may not be open during the off-season)There were 14 tent sections (camping platforms), tables and benches on the lawn, and solar lights on the walkways. There is a kitchen, restrooms, and vending machines. BBQ stoves etc. can be rented for a fee, and you can take your trash home with you. There was also an area where you could play in the river. After walking for about 15 to 20 minutes, you can reach the suspension bridge, which is the halfway point to the waterfall. From there, the road becomes steeper and there are stairs to climb. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to walk to the waterfall, and I was told that it would take about an hour and a half to see it round trip. You should also be able to meet rare endemic species. There are a lot of insects depending on the season. . . Insect repellent is a must! There was also a warning about snakes. You might be able to fully enjoy the nature of Yanbaru in many ways. There are no tent rentals, so camping may be a little more difficult for travelers.

Both of my grandchildren are having fun at Hiji Otaki Falls for the first time. Unlike the sea, there were no waves, and the water was crystal clear and beautiful, so we both enjoyed it 😍There were long-tailed 🦐 ꉂ(ˊ▽ˋ*)w Because the water is from the waterfall, it's cold in some places ❣️ Even if you don't swim, you'll be satisfied even if you dip your legs and waist in it ☺but! ️The distance is quite long so you have to walk while taking a rest and hydrating yourself😫🥤By the way, ∥WC∥ is only at the entrance, so you have to go after ✋(^-^)🚻😥 💦If you are going to Hiji Otaki, please be careful(*´︶`*)ノ

The people at the campsite were kind. It was my first time setting up a tent on a wooden deck, but since I had spring pegs ready, it was easy. It's great to have a drink after working up a sweat at Hiji Falls. The sound of the river and the forest bathing were great.
