Situated in the serene and picturesque Shiramine region of Hakusan, Ishikawa, Japan, the lodge offers guests a unique, nature-immersed experience. This peaceful retreat is open exclusively during the summer months, providing a perfect base for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the beauty of Hakusan National Park. Located 23 km from National Route 157, the lodge is nestled in one of Japan's most sacred and scenic mountain areas, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views and tranquil surroundings. The architecture is simple and functional, designed to blend harmoniously with the natural environment while offering essential amenities for a comfortable stay.
The lodge features rustic dormitories equipped with bunk beds, allowing up to 30 guests to stay at once. Bedding is provided, but guests are advised to bring inner sleeping bags for added comfort. The shared facilities include basic outdoor toilets, a drying room for wet clothing, and a changing room. There are also cooking facilities available for guests who wish to prepare their meals. While the lodge does not offer high-end amenities like spas, fitness centers, or air conditioning, its simplicity is what makes it an ideal choice for those looking for an authentic and back-to-basics lodging experience.

Once at the lodge, guests can enjoy a range of activities including hiking, mountain climbing, and shrine visits, as well as exploring nearby natural wonders.

For dining options, guests can explore several nearby restaurants, including ベットウチャヤ (11 minutes by taxi), Yuuta Yakiniku (40 minutes by taxi), and the Chinese restaurant ビショククウカンスイカ (2 hours and 36 minutes by taxi). The Baishan Visitor Center provides breakfast, dinner, and accommodation. For tourists from far away, as long as they start from Beidang Departure around noon, it is a good resting point, and then arrange to climb to the top of Baishan early the next day.

I visited here for the first time in 10 years and it was very clean and comfortable. There is a place where you can see the plateau below from a 2-3 minute walk from the mountain hut, and I was moved by the beautiful sunset.

If you are confident in your physical strength, you can take a day trip up the mountain, but if you are not, we recommend staying overnight (in Murodo). Hakusan, one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. It is also famous for its flowers. Personally, I find the scenery along the wooden path near the top very mysterious, and it makes me feel like I'm in another world.

Restrooms (tip system) and water stations (free) available. Thank you for letting me deposit my extra luggage for my summit attack. Good signal (au). Since it was shown on the Hakusan live camera on YouTube, I was able to inform my acquaintances in the lower world and shake their hands. It will be a commemorative moment.

1 night and 2 meals 11,300 yenRefills of rice and soup🆗40 minutes up to GozenmineI am grateful that I can use the water fountain (drinkable) for free. There are tables and benches outside the building. You can cook wild rice using fire.Check-in starts at 13:00, and if you are going to Gozenmine before then, backpacks etc. can be deposited outside the building.Draft beer 800 yenIt was room 3, ② of Kuroyurisou.I fumbled around preparing mats and blankets in a room with no light. It depends on the location of the room, but it was disappointing. The toilet is in a separate building, so wear shoes and bring a light with you at night. The toilet is clean with a washlet
