I was filled with gratitude for the kind advice I received from the planning stage of my trip. Thank you for introducing the recommended shops in Suzaka, and it was a very enjoyable trip! The historic accommodations have been renovated to be stylish and functional, and are comfortable.

This time, we stayed in a Western-style building with three people (one infant). It's a very nice space,There were two beds, and the space with a straight line from the kitchen to the bedroom was wonderful! (^^)The hallway from the entrance also has an old-fashioned feel, and if you look at it early in the morning, the light will come in and make you feel warm. The bedroom has a frosted glass window that lets in fresh, gentle light so you can wake up feeling refreshed in the morning. When you open the door, you can see the courtyard and feel soothed. It was quiet at night, I could hear the insects, and I was able to sleep comfortably even without air conditioning.Since there is no TV, I was able to do a digital detox (^_^)Communication leading up to my stay went smoothly, and the check-in time was flexible, which was helpful. The small items and small services here and there warmed my heart. The staff were also very kind and welcomed us with warm smiles, and sent us off comfortably when we checked out.I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Nagano.Next time I'm planning to bring my parents and stay in the main house as well.

During my trip to Nagano, I couldn't find any good accommodations in Nagano City, and I was curious about the place because it had been featured in a magazine, so I decided to visit Suzaka.Although the price was reasonable, I was really satisfied with the host's commitment and the special space that was filled with local charm and history. I have stayed at many different accommodations, but this is one of the rare accommodations that makes me want to come back again. The person who checked us in happened to be a host from Suzaka, and he explained about the building that has been around for over 100 years, and about Suzaka, and I couldn't help but listen intently. The building, which is unique to Suzaka, is said to have been renovated from a nationally registered tangible cultural property, and it was an experience that felt like stepping into the life of the Meiji and Taisho eras. It was a special experience to spend time relaxing on the veranda while drinking the homemade plum juice and coffee prepared for us.The food was made with carefully selected ingredients, mainly from Suzaka and Nagano, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious.I'm really thankful to you. thank you for helping me.

It was my first time staying at a registered cultural property!I heard from a friend who loves hotels that there is an inn about an hour's drive from Nagano City that even celebrities come to incognito, so I decided to visit from Osaka. This time, I stayed with two families to celebrate the 60th birthday of my husband and parents-in-law, and the entire building was reserved for us, with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room, 2 kitchens, and a separate hallway, so 4 adults could have fun as if they were children. It was a mansion. I wanted to copy the inn's attention to detail not only in the building itself, but also in everything from the interior, to the dishes, to the kitchen goods, so I asked the owner where I could buy them. (By the way, I was very grateful that they were particular about the quality of the amenities!)This inn is perfect for travelers who like to enjoy the city in a leisurely manner, as there is a cool hot spring flowing directly from the source within a 5-minute drive, a famous Oyaki restaurant, and a row of historic buildings. The town of Suzaka is also highly recommended. This time we planned to have no cooking, but I was told that they would be serving delicious homemade food from Nagano, so I regretted it so much. They say they can accommodate up to 6 people, so next time I'm planning to book a plan that includes rice for a girls' night out. The best time to visit is in early May when the white wisteria blooms.

Due to business related to my wife's family, I had to stay in Suzaka for one night, so I stayed at Shirato-san's. We stayed for one night and two days, but the couple enjoyed the tasteful inn that made use of cultural properties. For dinner, we had Western Italian cuisine in our room, along with local Nagano wine. The room had a kitchen and other facilities, and for breakfast we had oyaki (oyaki (round eggplant oyaki) was delicious) purchased from the nearby ``Suzuki Keisetsudo'' and tea on the veranda facing the courtyard. The trees in the courtyard were changing colors and we had a wonderful time.

It was a wonderful space where you could feel the weight of history and calmness.I realized that no matter how much time passes, a truly authentic building, furniture, furnishings, etc. will still give you a special sense of satisfaction.I am grateful that I was able to enjoy the most extraordinary experience, even if only for a moment.
