This is one of the few accommodations on Minamidaito Island that can be booked online.Since this was my first visit to Minamidaito Island, I made a reservation with a rental car plan.If you choose the rental car plan, the staff will have already transferred the rental car to the airport parking lot, and you will be guided to the hotel by following the staff's car.The inn is a wild structure that looks like a converted farmhouse barn, but the room we were shown to had a stylish interior and Wi-Fi was available, so I think it's more than adequate for an inn on a remote island.Regarding food and drinks, there are vending machines on the premises, but it is best to buy food at a store on the island or bring your own food.Personally, I think it's safe to eat at a restaurant in the center of the island. After staying for one night, I felt that it was a good enough place to stay as a base for enjoying island hopping on your own schedule using a rental car, etc., with no curfew.By the way, you can drop off your rental car at the airport.

The hotel is located on the opposite side of the runway from the airport (you can't straddle it), and there is a shuttle service available.I stayed for 2 nights, but there were noticeable deficiencies in the facilities at the accommodation. The heated toilet seat in the shared restroom is out of order. The lights in the shower room are hanging from the wires. The sink made of mortar had cracks, water leaked onto the floor, and the drain water from the air conditioner was also on the floor. The door to the room can be locked from the outside, but not from the inside. The windows are crooked and cannot be locked. This is because the prefabricated pillars are rotten and no longer square. On the first day, several people stayed in another room one room away. Since they are not next to each other, the noise is not an issue. On the second day, there are no other guests, so we reserve it for ourselves.I rented a scooter. The engine was in good condition. When I went to Hinomaruyama Observation Deck to see the Southern Cross at night, the meter light was out and I wondered how many kilometers I had traveled. It was. At night, there are many roads without guardrails, reflective materials, or road lighting, and the white lines are almost disappearing, which can be scary. You can clearly see the stars while running, so it feels like you are running through space.Since it didn't rain, we visited most of the scenic spots on the island, and it's a convenient vehicle for eating and shopping. Groceries at the supermarket are two to three times more expensive than in Honshu, but gasoline was only 178 yen, which was decent. The prices of the inn's beverage vending machines are the same as regular vending machines.A banana tree was planted, and you could just see the flowers and fruit.I would like to come back when the facilities are fixed.

Many people who came to the island for work stayed there. (annex)It seemed like there were no washlets except in high-end accommodations. There is no public transportation on the island, so the person at the hotel will pick you up and drop you off. There is an annex and two locations. The photo shows the entrance of a fairly old inn near the airport.

I used it when I traveled to Northern and Southern Daito Islands.Although it is a very high-level inn for travelers, it is almost the only inn on Minamidaito Island that can be booked through Rakuten Travel (national travel support is also applied), and it is also very convenient because you can rent a car. You can stay at a low price.Regarding the location, although it is on the outskirts of the island, it is very close to Minamidaito Airport. We can provide transportation to and from the airport (or ferry port). However, it is quite a distance from the center of the island, so it will be difficult to go out to eateries without transportation. We recommend that you bring your own food or rent a car with the assumption that you will not be drinking. The rooms are prefabricated and simply divided into private rooms with one bed. The room we stayed in had a double bed, but since there were two men, we asked for an extra mattress and were able to get an extra mattress. The walls of the room are quite thin. There are soundproof mats on the floor, so you don't have to worry about footsteps, but you can hear the TV and people talking. As long as you don't make a fuss until late at night, it's probably best for both of you to not worry about it too much. Also, since it is prefabricated and directly connected to the outside, small insects will naturally get in. When I looked at the floor, I noticed that there were a few small ants, but I didn't see any ants swarming around the sweets I had placed there. The room itself is clean and well-appointed, so I think this is due to the structure of the building rather than hygiene. As for the common areas, there are handwashing stations, showers, and toilets lined up outside under a roof. As mentioned above, it's outside so there are some things that can't be helped, but the cleaning is very thorough, so I think it fits well with the image of a "clean water area at a campsite." Amenities are provided. The best part was that the host was very kind. They taught us about recommended spots on Minamidaito Island and how to get around the island, and also kindly answered any concerns we had about accommodation....Everything is fulfilling and beautiful and the best! Although this is not the same feeling of satisfaction, this is an inn where you can have a wonderful experience in the wild.Although it is difficult to recommend it to everyone, I think that travelers who are visiting Minamidaito Island will have a completely comfortable stay.

There were no problems during my stay with sufficient facilities for a stay without meals. For those who don't mind having a shared shower and toilet, there is nothing to complain about. This is the perfect accommodation for people who want to stay in Minamidaito at a cheap price. I will stay again if I have a chance.
