The room I stayed in in front of Amanohashidate Station was nice, facing the sea, but the person staying next door or on the upper floor had a child with him, and I couldn't get a good night's rest because of the sounds of jumping up and down and squealing from early in the morning. . My overnight trip🧳 was ruined.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much since it was a tourist spot, but it turned out to be an unexpectedly nice accommodation. The staff were generous and courteous, and the food was delicious. The view from the room is amazing. However, the equipment is a little old.

Disappointing experience.1st time we felt this way about a hotel/ryokan in this part of the world.Room was fine. Aircon works well. However we found spiders. We paid for half board which includes dinner & breakfast. For the price we paid we felt the dinner wasn’t worth. Breakfast was worst. It was buffet style. But by the time we went to the restaurant there was VERY little food left. They did not replenish the dishes that ran out.Location is good but i will not return to this place.

I only had lunch, but there was a large selection of Japanese food, but the sashimi and soba noodles were particularly bad.

We stayed here for two days on a month long trip around Japan. The location is lovely right on the shore of the lake. The hotel is lovely and well kept up. the grounds are nice to sit out and watch the lake. The hotel is adjcent to the Amanohashidate park and the village so very convieient. The hotel is nice and well maintained but not fancy. The guest rooms are very traditional Japanese rooms which I expect serves their primary clientele. The Japanese dinner was very nice and just the right amount of food, not too much like other hotels we have stayed at. The buffet breakfast has soomething to be desired, not very appealing and we quite picked over by the time we went down for breakfast. We had been travelling for several weeks and were expecting to do some laundry only to be told the hotel does not have a guest laundry room and does have a laundry service for it’s guests. The Internet coverage is spotty at times.A nice place to stay for a night or two while on a road trip.
