I rented a bicycle and used the bath. The bicycle is about the size of a minivelo with a basket. The fee is 1,500 yen for 4 hours or more, and a deposit of 1,000 yen (the deposit will be returned when you return the bicycle).I looked around the thatched-roof village, had lunch, and then came back and took a relaxing bath (600 yen).

The hot springs got a little crowded as people came after playing in the river.

It's just a short walk from Miyama's Kayabuki no Sato and across the river. There is also a campsite in a very nice atmosphere. It seems that quite a number of foreigners come to stay at Kawakaso itself.

This is a relaxing place. There are many beautiful cherry blossoms, and the decoration inside the B&B is also very unique. The staff spoke English very well and the dinner was delicious. The nearby B&Bs are very expensive, but this one is very cheap and has hot springs, which is great value for money.

We had a truly magical stay at this hotel! Amazing location in the heart of nature, very kind and welcoming staff! We loved the deer meat, it was the first time we ate it! We were able to rent bikes and go to the nearby village. The hot spring was very nice too. Thank you for everything ☺️
