The location is great if you intend to visit Korankei gorge. There's free parking across the Minshuku but you must make a reservation with the owner. The place has only 8 rooms and run by 1 middle aged man who does everything from cleaning to cooking. You can only make reservation through phone calls and only in Japanese. We got a Japanese friend to make a reservation for us. There's no written confirmation, you call him again to confirm 2-3 weeks before arrival. When we arrived we communicated through Google translate and it was fine. There's no WiFi and only 1 bathroom. No hot water in wash basins except the one in the bathroom. The staircase up to the rooms is narrow and steep, big luggage may pose an issue. The owner cooks delicious breakfast and dinner which he served in a little restaurant next to the Minshuku. We booked 2 rooms but were given 3, 1 of which was used as a living room for us. The heater worked very well so our sleep was good. On the whole we enjoyed our stay very much thanks to the hospitality of the host.

I stayed here for one night before. You can eat at the restaurant next door. This is an old-fashioned inn.

It seems like they are only open for lunch these days. The menu only includes daily set meals,Mainly Japanese food and delicious ☆If you want to see the Hina Dolls, it is best to start from Korankei, see the last tea shop, and then have lunch here (^^)
