I had come in the evening after doing the 8-Hour Trail and the host was fantastic. She quickly tried to get me a room to set me up as it was a holiday; most everywhere else being closed. They got me a room facing the water and I got to see a beautiful sunset!Lovely staff, tasty meal, and overall amazing experience. Will be back again! 皆さんどうもありがと!!!

I had the impression that all the hotels on Rebun Island were expensive, but this one costs 13,200 yen including two meals, and they also provide free transportation to the ferry terminal, Cape Sukoton, etc., so I think the cost performance is quite high. The food was good, and above all, the host, landlady, and other staff members were very kind. It's no wonder that it's a popular inn and is fully booked almost every day during the season.

While the room is small, if you are getting a sunset facing room, your evening will be amazing .It is actually a hostel setup so if you know it is a hostel, then it is fine as a hostel. The host is also very kind giving the best recommendation of Rebun island.

2 nights trekking on Rebun IslandI was allowed to use it.The location is located on the north side of Rebun Island. There are restaurants and convenience stores around the Funadomari area. There are almost no such things. If you go by bus, Kafuka has a ferry terminal. It takes about 30 minutes or more and costs about 930 yen. However, guests staying at the hotel can receive free transportation. I arrived on the morning flight on the first day, left my luggage at the hotel, and was taken straight to Cape Sukoton, where I walked the cape tour course. The next morning, the guests who had checked out were taken to the car to take them to the ferry terminal, and we trekked around the Momoiwa Observation Course. The whole hostel is old but clean. You can also use the washing machine and dryer, which is helpful.I did. The famous sea urchin is also served at the meal.It was very satisfying. The staff and host are also good people.I am grateful for that. The weather was not good this time, soI will use it again next time and it will be a sunny autumn day.I wanted to walk around Rebun.

Glad to see this place back on the google map. It was a period where travel had been restricted. The start of the 2020 Autumn. I, and my friend, for the first time ever, been to Hokkaido. After Hakodate, we took some time in Sapporo before we went straight to Wakkanai. We had contacted the place's owner beforehand, so he came, and got us to our lodging. We were greeted by the nearby cats, and Hana chan, the friendly corgi. I wonder if she's still healthy as of now.Even though it was only two days, the time we spent on Rebun island is still vivid in my memory. The owners took great care of us. We were too late for the alpine flowers, but never too late for the hospitality. They served really tasty dinner, and breakfast. The seafood was fresh, and worth every penny. Honestly, I think we got more than we paid for. The first time I tried steamed sea urchin, too.About the lodging, it's located right next to a beach, so you can watching sunrise, and sunset on your stay. There's a bath, share toilet, and fridge. On a good day, you can watch the starry sky at night. Cape Sutokon is just several km next to it, a convenient base to explore the sounthern part of the island. You can rent their bicycle, too.Hope I could go back there, someday.September 20th ~ 22nd, 2020. Rebun Island.
