An inn that I had considered staying at but ended up not choosing. After actually going to Tokunoshima and seeing the actual location, I was convinced that I had made the right decision not to choose this location.In front of you is the parking lot of Inu no Mongata, one of Tokunoshima's best tourist spots, and next door is the public toilet.It is true that from the terrace you can see the sea beyond the parking lot, but the parking lot where large buses often come and go is right in front of you across the road.That's impossible.It's a neat building, but I honestly thought I should have chosen another type of old folk house.

There is nothing around (only the dog's gate cover). At night, the only sound is moonlight, the sound of waves, and the occasional local couple. Although it is located in an area that is inconvenient without a car, they create a special time and space. There is a mini-kitchen in the room (equipped with cooking utensils, seasonings, microwave, etc.), so I was able to purchase ingredients from a supermarket about 10 minutes away by car and cook. There's no TV, so the room becomes silent at night, so I put my smartphone on the audio expansion speaker that was in the room and played some kind of sound...When I took a shower, it was so quiet I got scared. (lol) If I had to make a wish, it would be that the roll curtains are not light-blocking, so it would be a good idea to bring an eye mask because it gets bright in the morning. I met the staff and checked in here. All I had to do was leave the key and leave the room. We were able to spend a special time staying at a scenic spot on Tokunoshima. The next morning, a cow was brought to the parking lot in front of us, and we were walking around it...There were so many cars coming at once that it got noisy, but I was happy because I felt like I got to see a special piece of Tokunoshima. is.

The room is very nice, but it's right in front of the parking lot of Inu-no-mon Gate, a tourist area, so if you're on the terrace during the day, you can see all the tourists, so it doesn't feel comfortable. At night or early in the morning, when there are no people around, you can enjoy a private space surrounded by nature. Also, since there is only a shower, it would have been nice to have a bathtub.
