We stayed at this accommodation for three nights on holiday in the summer. We experienced a wonderful stay.The location of the building is right by the sea and only local residents come to the sandy beach, so you can play in the sea almost like a private beach.The building is an old Japanese house with two air conditioners in the living and bedroom room and the entrance. The dining room and kitchen are hot during the day when the weather is good, as there is no air conditioning in the dining room and kitchen and the heat is transferred directly from the roof.The shower room is also conveniently located in a separate building so that you can take a shower directly after returning from the beach.There is a full range of cooking equipment, but it is a portable two-burner induction cooktop, so you may need to get used to handling it. Also, the pot is not large, about 20 cm (about 7.8 in), so you need to think about portions if you are cooking for boiling.There were some minor inconveniences because it is not at home, but that is something you feel when travelling, so I do not perceive it as a major problem.In Tokunoshima, Visa and MasterCard credit card payments are accepted in some shops, such as supermarkets.As for public transport, there is a bus service, but I strongly recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay.
