I tried to make a reservation, but I called several times and changed the time.Since I couldn't connect, I stayed at Toyama, a guesthouse in Ukeamuro, a village on the other side.At that time, we heard that Minami had been closed for a long time due to her family's health.I hope it reopens, but those considering visiting Ukeshima should be careful.

Currently, the cost is 7,000 yen (tax included) for 1 night and 2 meals, 8,000 yen (tax included) for 3 meals, and the room has an air conditioner and a desk. You can borrow 2 face towels and 1 bath towel. The hair dryer is located in the washroom and is shared. No amenities. Shower available. 2 toilets. One washroom. The refrigerator is located at the entrance and is shared. The room is clean and there is no TV, so time passes slowly. The mother has retired, and her calm and quiet son is the owner. The food was well-balanced, colorful, and very delicious.I felt that the service was very good in this environment on Ukejima. There is no convenience store. There is a Masuoka Shoten nearby, and they seem to have drinks, but I think it would be better to buy them at Koniya and bring them with you. There are also some inns available.

2023.07I stayed here for 2 nights. When I got off the boat, a man called out to me, "Mr. XX?" It was about a 5 minute walk, so I thought there would be no one to pick me up, but I was so thankful for my miscalculation. The inn is an H-shaped building, with the accommodation building on the left and the owner's living space and dining room on the right. The rooms are private and have air conditioning, which is nice. The TV and refrigerator were located in the common area for guests. A guesthouse built like this is ideal from the perspective of those staying there. The food was delicious and the stay was enjoyable.

You can pick up and drop off at the inn, which is about a 5-minute walk from the port. Although the island is small, if you are not confident in your physical strength just walking, we recommend relaxing on the beach. The accommodation had good ventilation and I was able to stay in the room without air conditioning.

When I decided to visit Ukejima on a trip, I was very worried when I learned that this minshuku was the only place I could stay in the Ikeji area, but when I checked on various review sites, all the reviews were very …

It was a wonderful stay, not enough for 5 stars. The owner's grandmother, who appears in other people's reviews, seems to have retired, but she is in good spirits at the guesthouse, and when I greeted her, she had a cute smile and a friendly chat with me, just as the rumors had said. Ta.The two sisters who took care of the grandmother were also very polite, and any concerns I had before visiting disappeared immediately. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The owner also helped me with everything, including carrying my luggage to the port when I was going to the port.Next time, I would like to visit with plenty of time to get permission to climb Mt. Daisen.“Hana-chan” in the garden was so cute! ! !

There is nothing on the island other than the clean ocean, coral reefs and starry skies. It's a very quiet island. This guesthouse is run by a smiling grandmother and her quiet son.Grandma's cooking tastes just like mom's. If you tell them it's delicious, they'll smile even more. That face is very soothing. The rooms are well cleaned. Of course, it is fully air conditioned. This is an inn that I would definitely like to come back to again.
