Until before the coronavirus, we had been using it as an inn for New Year's parties for about 8 years with over 10 people.I finally tried to make a reservation this year after the coronavirus pandemic started, but I couldn't get anyone to contact me, so I did a lot of research and was able to stay here 😄First time in 5 years? However, the inside of the building was still clean and I was able to spend a comfortable time without any damage in the large room 😃The breakfast buffet seemed to have a little less menu compared to 10 years ago, but it was delicious😌

If you're staying around Komaki, this is definitely a ryokan you should check out. The appearance of a good old business hotel can be said to have been maintained to this day precisely because of its location in Komaki, which is, for better or worse, a mediocre location. Although the facility is old, it is well maintained and comfortable. There are quite a few guests, so it's lively. I don't know if it might be difficult for women as the toilets and sinks are shared, but I don't think it would be a problem at all if you want to experience a Showa-era ryokan.I would like to stay again!P.S.: I've stayed here several times already, and the toilet on the second floor has been updated! If you are backing up on a corner lot and are driving a light van from east to north, don't set up any hazards, turn your head to the west, and go west on the sidewalk until you run a red light.

It's a good old Showa era inn, and I felt that the landlady (mother) had a very nice (gentle) personality. The music during dinner was nostalgic (Showa era medley), so it was very nostalgic. I would like to come again if I have a chance.
