It was an inn where the food was very delicious. Each dish was carefully prepared using a lot of local vegetables, and I was very satisfied.Although the entire inn is old, the rooms are clean and tidy, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. The only cooling device was a fan, but even though it was August (the weather was cloudy and rainy at times), it wasn't hot at all.The only disappointing thing was the bathroom. I didn't have high expectations since it's not a hot spring hotel, but perhaps Togakushi doesn't put a lot of effort into its baths, and the bath was similar to a ski hotel near the ski slopes, so the water was a little lukewarm. Please note that there are no hair dryers in the changing rooms or rooms, so you have to borrow them from the front desk.

Thank you for your help in August 2022. I chose it because it had a private room with a toilet and because it was a reasonable price. The dishes made with plenty of Togakushi vegetables and the soba noodles prepared by the proprietress were delicious. There is no air conditioner in the room, but it was cool enough to use a blanket at night. Also, there is nothing as convenient as business hotels these days. There is no refrigerator in the room, and you can also rent a hair dryer from the front desk. It might be good for those who like the Showa retro atmosphere.
