The ashtray was right outside the entrance, and there was someone smoking, so the entrance was filled with cigarette smoke, so I couldn't get in until they had finished smoking, but I told the staff at the front desk about this when I checked in. When I informed them, they responded immediately and moved the ashtray to another location. The hot water in the public bath was very good (hot), and the room was clean and nice.I would like to stay here again when I go to Shiretoko.

This was my first time staying here. It was a room on the first floor, but the moment I entered the room, hmm? I thought it was a smell and when I followed the smell, it seemed like it was coming from the unit bath. I think it's probably the smell coming from the drainage. Since I'm going to use the hot springs, I close the door of the unit bath for now. The room was on the mountain side and I could see the sound of the river flowing and the trees growing. This is my third hot spring in Rausu, but it was the best. The open-air bath had 2 floating bathtubs and 3 indoor baths, so it was spacious enough. It's worth a day trip to the hot springs alone.I stayed for one night during a 3-day weekend in October. It was next to the room I stayed in last time. There was no particular smell in the room and I was able to enjoy the hot springs.

The building is quite old. In particular, the hot springs and attached toilets were very old and not very comfortable. We do not recommend using it for travel, etc. It's okay if your only purpose is to stay overnight cheaply.

This was a relatively cheap place to stay in this area. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi was smooth, and the outlet was a little far away so there were no problems. The hot springs were very warm and had good water. I didn't sweat, so it seemed like it would be very warm in winter. The temperature is high, so people who don't like hot food may not want to enter. There is also an open-air bath, but there is no sauna. There is nothing around the hotel. There was a herd of deer in the clearing across the street during the night. There was free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

2024.06.25 tueI think the hot spring itself is really nice. I used it in the evening. At night, my body was extremely itchy, and I wondered why, and when I checked, I found that I had been bitten by mosquitoes in many places. Maybe it can't be helped because we are surrounded by nature, but I was disappointed.
