The bathroom, bedroom and communal areas were dirty. Old bedding with stains on the pillows and futons. The bathroom was downstairs through multiple doors and very dirty. …

From the way the story goes, I get the feeling that it was previously run by his wife.||Atai-chan, a grandma's cat, greets you at the entrance (^^)|He quickly becomes attached to you and gets cozy with you. …

Traditional style pension. Very friendly proprietor. Large nice Japanese style rooms with good heating. The rest of the building is not well heated. Good shower downstairs. No food available. Close to local restaurants, ski lifts and bus stop at Rusutsu Resort Hotel. Toilets and rooms were clean. Popular with Japanese.

I had to go to Rusutsu in a hurry, so I hurriedly made a reservation for an inn, and it was empty, so I happily made the reservation, but when I arrived at the inn, I was surprised. …

I stayed there during the winter.Room without meals: 5,500 yen (heating fee included). Apparently they don't serve the breakfast that is listed on the website. The room is an old Japanese style room. It's so spacious that it could probably accommodate three people, but I was able to stay there by myself. There is some dirt on the tatami for some reason. (Savings by replacing tatami mats?)So the tatami is uneven.Unnecessarily large closet. An old futon with lots of women's hair on it.Thin mattress (you can sleep on two sheets)Thin walls.Free shower room available.A shared refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine (free detergent) are available. The room in front of the entrance stinks because of an elderly cat.The shared toilets are normal, but you can hear the sounds of both men and women relieving themselves.Close to the slopes, less than 5 minutes walk.Conveniently located in front of the resort hotel is Seven and Seicomart. The family restaurant right next door called Wakasaimo is reasonably priced and delicious. You can also buy souvenirs. The owner, Mr. Nakamura, is a very nice person. He will tell you a lot of behind the scenes information. It seems like there are some good deals if you become a regular.Currently, I have to say that 5,500 yen for a room without meals is a bit expensive. This may be because there are not many hotels in Rusutsu, so there is no competition.I think there are many things that can be done to improve the accommodation through cleaning and tidying up, so I gave this rating with high expectations.Owner Nakamura-san, if you see it, please improve it!Then I'll go stay again! As expected, that level of futon is tough...
