It's a relaxing inn that makes you feel like you've come to your grandmother's house in the countryside. The hostess with a kind smile welcomed us.

I stayed here on July 7, 2024. Since retiring, I have been enjoying learning a little English, photography, music, and cycling. Although the end of the rainy season has not yet been announced, I believed in the weather forecast that it would be sunny for several days, so I decided to take on a pre-warmed bicycle trip, going from Oise to the seaside through Tsurugi Pass, and spending the night in Toba. I took the first train in the morning from Kintetsu Isuzugawa Station, passed Kentoge Pass, visited Shirataki Falls, and arrived safely at Hamajima. It was a nice guesthouse as per the reviews. After having a good time chatting with the guests who were participating in the Ise-Shima Satoumi Triathlon that was being held that day, I was the only guest staying (an old man's privilege where every day is Sunday). There is a Family Mart nearby, so after buying some food and relaxing in the bubble jet bath, I had dinner alone with a beer while looking at the small cove that gradually faded into darkness and the white boat floating right in front of me. It was a luxurious time. P.S. It was a hot day. When I arrived in a hurry, I was able to use the washing machine and did a thorough job of washing the clothes.

It's clean. You can fish right in front of Kaiyu. It's quiet and relaxing, and there is a restaurant called Yacht nearby that serves delicious seafood. This guesthouse is recommended for those who want to stay overnight without meals and want to travel cheaply.

I never expected that an evacuation order would be issued due to a tsunami. We had to evacuate at 1am.The atmosphere and service were good. The only problem was that when we evacuated, we were not given any hazard maps or anything, so we didn't know where to evacuate. It's a shame because it's so important.

Ideal for overnight stays during outdoor activities such as fishing and golf! The restaurant is run by a kind landlady and owner. There is only one inn next to a quiet cove, giving it a very private feel.I always use it on my way home from fishing.Take your time in the cypress jet bathtub, which is large enough for a family. Now, if you call, you can take a day trip bath only on Saturdays. The rooms are old Japanese-style rooms, but they also have Wi-Fi, so long-term stays are possible. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle in the lobby. There is also an outside sink, so you can dispose of the fish you catch at the inn. There is also a stove that can be rented out for free, so you can have a BBQ in the summer.I go shopping at a nearby convenience store or by car to Ugata. As mentioned in the video, there are not many places to shop or eat on Hamashima, so be careful. This accommodation is suitable for people who can move around by car, but it is also recommended for single people as it is easy to use.

This is a very personal review. The location, the thoughtfulness of the landlady, and the Showa atmosphere made it a very relaxing inn for me. Is this not suitable for people who find inconvenience annoying? It was a nice and quiet place.
