A very nice accommodation.Price performance great.The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is delicious and there is plenty of choice.There are plenty of free parking spaces available. There is also a parking space for bicycles.A very nice hotel that you can recommend 100 percent.

We were allowed to stay in the Hotel am Limes for 4.5 months due to water damage. We were lucky enough to stay in a modern apartment of around 55 square meters with a bedroom, living room with kitchen and dining area and a great bathroom.Our apartment was cleaned regularly and the bed linen and towels were changed.Service very goodBreakfast buffet very goodThe apartment is on the ground floor and is easily accessible via the hotel's own parking lot.All in all, the hotel is highly recommended.We would like to take this opportunity to thank the hotel owners once again and wish them all the best for the future.

We have been in the hotel for 5 months due to water damage. During this time we even gave birth to our first baby. So it's not all that easy. But the staff and hotel lady were so helpful and friendly. Even did more than they actually needed to do. Super friendly and we are just so grateful to everyone for this great time! When we asked if there was room for us, she was super friendly! We were warmly welcomed with a delicious breakfast buffet. And the rooms were always cleaned impeccably, even though there was so much of us standing around because of the baby. The hotel itself is cleaned regularly, be it outside or inside. Everything is super neat and clean!

For a 6-day stay in the Vogelsberg region, we chose the “Hotel am Limes” in Altenstadt.It proved to be an excellent starting point for visiting the Messel mine, the Saalburg Roman fort, the Vulkaneum in Schotten, the Münzenberg castle ruins, the Celtic world at Glauberg and the treetop path at Hoherodskopf.We felt very comfortable in the quietly located hotel.The owner was always friendly and always helpful.The clean and very homely room was equipped with comfortable beds and even a refrigerator.The breakfast buffet was particularly noteworthy. It left nothing to be desired.The owner's reference to the Italian restaurant “Da Toni”, which was only 1 minute away, was a great tip.All in all: A highly recommended accommodation.

An excellent hotel with very good value for money. Pleasantly large rooms with high-quality furnishings and very good beds, and the bathroom and toilet are separated. Definitely worth mentioning is the excellent breakfast, which is very appetizing and has a large, delicious selection.The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpful, and she pays particular attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in a way that is rarely experienced. We will be back :-)

Been on a 3 day trip for business. Arrived on Sunday evening at 10 p.m., Ms. Rebensdorf deserves an extraordinary service medal. with information for the key safe, photos, the operation itself & the option of an emergency contact on Sunday evenings at 10 p.m. if you get stuck. The woman is really great, I can only recommend it, that's what I call service.Ps. to future guests, The hotel is not a Ritz, but damn close for the stars it has.For me it was the most uncomplicated hotel in a long time.Greetings from Room no. 7 ;)

A very nice, small, new city hotel in a quiet residential area. I felt very comfortable in the large, tastefully furnished room; What is particularly positive is that the bathroom and toilet are separated from each other. The breakfast buffet is great. There is something for everyone.There is a tiny smear for the shower. It is relatively narrow and has a high entrance.It's a shame that, in my opinion, the hotel is not suitable for people with limited mobility. The reason is that, with the exception of one large apartment, all rooms are on the upper floors, which can only be reached via a narrow stone staircase. There is no elevator.
