For the key you need a code, which you get from the doorbell. Enter code, key falls. The whole hotel is very tastefully designed in a classic and modern style, the rooms are great, the bathroom is well integrated. Beds very good, drinks, coffee and snacks from vending machines, cheap. Photo Enforced. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, a client's dispatcher accidentally booked this hotel for me recently while I was working at the trade fair in Frankfurt for 8 days.The hotel certainly used to have charm, but unfortunately it is now only mediocrely maintained and, in my opinion, offers no comfort at all.The rooms are somewhat OK, but huge with high ceilings and difficult to heat, which is not helped by the leaky and noisy wooden doors.The bathroom looks as if it was "wanted but not able" to have been renovated in a peudo-high quality way, but it does its job.I accidentally left the electric rapid heater on and the light in the bathroom one day. When I came back in the evening, the rapid heater, which is only intended for short-term heating, was still running, the light was still on, but the towels had been changed. Someone was probably in a hurry.Unfortunately, which is not clear from the booking portals, there is no breakfast at all, but a reference to the bakeries in the area, which I do not consider to be a replacement for breakfast in the hotel. There is an ATM on the ground floor, which unfortunately only works with cash, which is no longer the state of the art. In addition, the machine was usually almost empty.By the way, the former breakfast rooms could be used as lounges if necessary.What I liked was that the internet WiFi generally worked well.The parking situation is more than complicated as there are only two parking spaces.By the way, there is NO ELEVATOR in the building.There are a few restaurants of every quality level in the immediate vicinity. I can highly recommend the Schreinerei and the Alsatian Restaurant.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations! Well, just a miracle! Online check-in, convenient location, lovely rooms with high ceilings and stucco decor, very cute restored furniture, lovely clean bed linen and towels, kettle in room, adjustable heating. Super! You are cool! It was very nice. I hope to visit more than once.

The room itself is okay, you could turn up the heating a bit at these temperatures as it takes longer for a room with high ceilings to get warm. It was very cold... The TV didn't work. The bathroom was interesting but dusty. And we arrived late and unfortunately the navigation system took us through the Kaiser Promenade, which was already closed at 10 p.m. and we couldn't get through. Unfortunately, after a few attempts, we couldn't find another way, so we had to park on the promenade, which was a bit of a walk with luggage at 4 a.m. You should point out to customers that this street is closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and describe an alternative route.

The self-check-in worked smoothly (key box at the entrance, code for the respective room key is sent by email).The room was tastefully furnished, spacious and seemed spacious thanks to the high ceilings.On the ground floor there is a small lounge area with machines for cold and hot drinks and snacks.The location of the hotel in the immediate vicinity of the pedestrian zone with many cafes, restaurants and the castle was great, but it also meant a certain search for parking space, especially because the hotel does not have its own parking spaces.So much for the positive part.The booking was without breakfast. We were quite surprised that there was no possibility of having breakfast at the hotel, or rather we were only informed by email the evening before we arrived. Personally, I found it a bit of a shame, but it was still bearable due to the variety of dining options in the immediate area.What was harder to get over was the lack of service. There were two packets of shampoo in the room, each the size of a sugar packet like you get with coffee in a café, i.e. about the same volume as a teaspoon. And a bar of soap the size of a tablespoon. The shampoo was just enough to wash the hair of a single (short-haired!) person, even though we had booked the room as a couple. Since the room wasn't cleaned the next day, i.e. the trash can remained full, no additional care products were added. And there was no one to be seen at reception all day to ask about anything.The absolute highlight was the aquarium bathroom in the room: glazed all around, largely frosted glass, but the glass door with an almost perfect "view". In addition, the door had a gap of 1 cm all around, no locking device and did not stay closed properly. I don't know if that's part of the "mystical" concept. However, I personally find it unattractive to watch someone else use the toilet, especially since the "excellent" door meant that neither smells nor noises remained where they were supposed to. In our 21 years of marriage, we have both seen and experienced a lot together that has "toughened" us, among other things. the births of our 3 children, during whose upbringing we had to clean up a few spilled diapers or soiled carpets, to name just one example. But especially when 2 of these 3 children, brother and sister, now 12 and 16 years old, have to share the second room, which is just as equipped, things get stupid.Or to put it another way (and this is a fitting conclusion to the entire review): If I had known about the “Aquarium” beforehand, I would have booked a different hotel. And if we had stayed more than one night, I would have rebooked.

Were there over the weekend and were very satisfied. Nice big room comfortable bed.Uncomplicated check-in.The television didn't work at first, but an email 5 minutes later fixed the problem.The location is great, everything is on the doorstep.City typical lack of parking space, but the parking garage is a few minutes away.We'd love to come back.

Very nice hotel that is centrally located in Bad Homburg! The rooms are very comfortable.Above all, the staff is super nice and helpful! I was spontaneously given another room because of the heat! I am absolutely thrilled!!! :-)

Arrived today and was pleasantly surprised, the room is very large and nicely furnished. Walk-in shower. I can't say much about the service, I had written messages in advance via booking com, which was very friendly and funny. A bit dusty in the room and small cobwebs on the lamp but otherwise great
