Once we were quite late and once an hour early. Nevertheless, we received a very friendly welcome and were able to enjoy the excellent food. A freshly tapped beer and an Apperol on the sun terrace, wonderful. The young lady from the service was great, very attentive. That has style. We'll be back.

Once and never again!We spent a week in the hotel for vacation.The rooms are ancient, some of the wallpaper has been torn off, the pictures are faded and there is mold in the bathrooms!The breakfast buffet was totally poor and not at all varied.During the week it was not possible to dine in the restaurant in the evenings as it was only open on weekends.Since the hotel is in a village and very remote, you always had to drive to the next town.When we dined in the hotel's restaurant the weekend before we left, we were so shocked!Underage and totally overwhelmed staff!When we were served our drinks, the waitress knocked over one of the drinks. After half an hour we still didn't have a new drink and the puddle on our table hadn't been cleaned up either. After the food was served by another waitress, I asked for my drink and after another 15 minutes I received it but the puddle remained on our table the whole evening!At the front of the bar, the senior of the house watched it all evening and drank a lot of beer! As we were waiting for our bill, he suddenly shouted at an employee and threw a glass at her, who then ran out crying!It was really a terrible holiday for us and I would never book this hotel again!!

We've eaten there every now and then. It was always very good and we never had anything else to complain about. Today we celebrated our daughter's confirmation there and, as usual, everything went well. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

We weren't hotel guests but there for dinnerThe forelk fillet was a dream and the sauce with it was legendary.Plus a very friendly boss.Prices are absolutely reasonable for this quality and we would be happy to come back..

We were here for lunch on Sunday with several people! Despite the full house, the service was very quick and attentive. We had different dishes that everyone enjoyed without reservation! I had a steak with fried potatoes, both were very tasty! I can particularly recommend the fried potatoes! All in all, I can fully recommend the Hotel Wettlaufer!

I can't say anything about the rooms as we were only there to eat. We asked by phone whether we could come for breakfast with two people during the week. A small breakfast buffet was set up for us and scrambled eggs with bacon were also brought to us. Delicious rolls, bread, sausage, cheese, fruit, homemade jams, juice and coffee...A very nice welcome and great service made the morning perfect.A very nice country hotel.I would go there again at any time and also for lunch or dinner.

We stopped here after a hike and I can only rate the restaurant. Our group had schnitzel, cordon bleu and spinach dumplings, with ice cream for dessert. Everyone was very satisfied. The food is beautifully prepared and very tasty. The restaurant is rustic and cozy.

The Hotel Wettlaufer is always worth a trip and if you haven't been here yet, you should definitely go. I used to drive all the way to Koblenz for a good beef steak. Since I got to know the Wettlaufer kitchen - at the highest level, for moderate prices (!) and courteous service, I've been coming here!! All in all 1A with five stars. Thanks! :)

We were invited to a wedding that took place in a neighboring room. The wedding party was registered for around 12 p.m., we were there at around 20 after 12. It took forever to get something to drink, there was only one waitress on site who was very slow and also served the hotel reception.At some point we received a DIN A4 "paper" with the 3 dishes we had chosen and again it took forever for the lady to record the dishes we wanted.Maybe you could have asked for the dishes you wanted right at the beginning and everything would have gone faster.Food was served sometime after 2 p.m. The first guests were already finished with their food before the last one even had a plate in front of them. That is not how it works!!! This service was definitely overwhelmed here (there were only 25 people). If you don't have more staff, you simply can't accept a celebration like this!We finally got dessert at 3:30 p.m. At 4 p.m. there was actually supposed to be coffee and cake at the wedding couple's home.........All in all, I wouldn't have a big celebration there. A wedding is a special celebration and should not be spoiled by a loveless, eternal process.The food was ok, but it doesn't make up for everything else.A pity

I can't say anything about the rooms, we were only there for "eating".The service was already overwhelmed when ordering drinks for 5 people.The "Jägerschnitzel" or whatever it was consisted of 1-2 mm of meat, covered in breading of the same thickness.The so-called sauce was a thin, inedible broth that my dog would have left alone.A handful of fries completes the whole thing.And we waited over an hour for all of this.
