I booked through Agoda for two nights.Pros:1. Strategic location, nearby cafe, pharmacy, spas and small grocery stores.2. Large doors and windows so you can let the Ubud breezy air in.3. There’s an AC & ceiling fan and they work really well.4. Everything’s clean.5. They sell soft drinks.6. THE BED IS SUUUPER COMFORTABLE!7. The homestay’s owner is contactable through WA (just use this Google Maps’s phone number).8. They provide two blankets, one hand soap, but they don’t provide toothbrushes, shampoo & body soap.Things to note/improve:1. They will not offer to clean your room daily, I think you should ask them.2. The power outlet above the work desk is a little too high so you need to make a proper setup for the water kettle.3. There is a desk and a big mirror but no chair, so you have to move around the chairs from the patio to your room.4. The blanket is a tad too small for two people😅 I wish they would switch to a bigger blanket.

I stayed two days in Ubud. Room is very clean and comfortable. Good service. Reasonable price. If somebody who travel alone, It will be good option to stay.

It is close to Monkey Forest, Ubud Market, and restaurants.The breakfast is so ridiculously delicious.I feel good when I start my day by eating papaya, watermelon, and banana every day.The owner's family is friendly.There is also laundry service inside.The overall facility is clean and appears to have been recently built.Highly recommended for those traveling alone

bad management = bad hotel.I arrived at check-in time in the early afternoon on the day I reserved my room. The operator, very kind and very friendly, told me that my room was not available. I expressed my dissatisfaction, in particular that she could have, at least, sent me a message, which had not been done.She found me another room with one of her friends or relatives, not very far away, and she paid the price for that room.By reading the reviews, especially on Google maps, we realize that this is not the first time that this has happened.It is completely unacceptable not to have been informed in advance and only upon arrival on site.What would have happened if I hadn't shown up at the accommodation? Would she have refunded me? I don't think so.

I’m sharing my experience: I booked a hotel through Agoda a week before the trip for 7 nights. I paid and received confirmation. On these dates there is a holiday in Bali and there is high demand, so this was done in advance. Arriving at the apartment, they told me that there was no reservation, they did not apologize, they did not offer anything at all. They just said fully booked. Unfortunately, this happens in Asia, I recommend checking in advance by calling the accommodation facility.

This family was delightful and made this stay a good transition in Bali for me. They were so helpful and hospitable. Uncle is always sweeping and cleaning. They also have a cute pug doggy that makes you enter and leave with a smile. The rooms were clean and like new. Only lizards coming in through the door gaps were a problem for me because im terrified of them, but uncle comes in and removes them for you if you ask. That was my only problem. Other than that, it was peaceful. They also do laundry at 25k for 1kg. Bathrooms are never perfect in Bali and you can expect the whole bathroom to be wet after a shower because there isnt a door. But i was okay with that. You get used to it. Get some bath slippers.The breakfast was also good. Fresh fruit! Although i wake up late because of my work hours, so i skipped that.The location was superb. Main locations are easily accessible by foot. Western food is like is also 5 minute walk away at KAFE if you prefer that.The owners also took me to my second accommodation with my huge luggage bag on the scooter bike. I was so surprised. Was very kind of them to help me out in the rain.Also they have a small clothing shop in their garage with some really pretty dresses and skirts that you find all over Bali. If u need clothes. Its right there.

It's so clean and friendly. As the reviews say, there's no air conditioning, but the fan is pretty cool. However, it gets a little hot when it rains. The owner and the lady were very friendly, and the room and breakfast were unbelievable for this price. I want to go when I come to Ubud again, but for those who are traveling, it's a bit far from the palace, so you have to walk a lot! But there is Grab! For those of you who are worried about writing a review, don’t worry!Very clean and kindly family. No A/C but room has a big fan. You can meet a really nice breakfast every morning. Don't hesitate to book now

For this price, it is very good value for money.I think it was newly builtIt's neatPlease greet the owner and his family kindly when they leave and come in, and bring them breakfast every day.When I went out on an early morning tour, I was scared of dogs, but they went out to the main road with me. Thank you so much🙏There was no hot water, but it wasn't cold and it was lukewarm so it didn't matter.There is a commercial refrigerator on the first floor. Please let me use it if you tell me.They sell water and beer. The prices are cheap, so there is no need to buy heavy items.Please do the laundry too. I left it in the morning and it was delivered in the evening. It was very fast.Please lend me a bike too.It was newAt first, I thought the engine would turn off when stopped, but since it is an auto start, the engine turns off while waiting and turns on again when the accelerator is pressed.This is my first time seeing a bike have this function haha.It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Ubud Market and about 15 minutes to Monkey.It's a midpoint so it's good to walk anywhere👍

This condition doesn't make sense at this price. If there is room left, be sure to!! Make a reservation.📍Location- Located on Hanoman Street, the main road in Ubud, it is easy to go anywhere.- Because it is slightly located in an alley from the main road, it is free from the hustle and bustle.📍Room condition- Mr. Sae cleans the room thoroughly, and the garden is broomed by my grandfather every day. :)- I have stayed at other homestays nearby, but SaeSae Homestay is the best! It’s neat💕- I'm a person who really, really cares about the bathroom, but they kept it really clean so I was able to use it comfortably.- I moved around the area based in Ubud and stayed in 3 of the 6 rooms (all double rooms), and all the rooms were clean and well-maintained. (Especially from the window of room 6, I could see the beautiful sunset and rice terraces every day.)- There is no air conditioning, but the room is cool enough with a fan.- As written in other reviews, additional towels are provided upon request, and the laundry (20k/kg) is also very fast, so sometimes if I leave it in early in the morning, I can pick it up in the evening!- Breakfast was served until 11am, which was quite late, so I was able to eat leisurely even after sleeping in.📍Host- I misunderstood the reservation date and arrived at the homestay at 3 a.m. the day before check-in. It was my fault and it was a full book, but Ms. Wayan and Mr. Sae kicked my son out of the room🥲 changed the sheets and cleaned the bathroom and helped me rest. I was truly so sorry and grateful.- He always checked to see if I was being overpriced for souvenirs or activities, and sometimes, when he had some free time, he even took me to the place I wanted to go by motorcycle!- During my stay, they really treated me like family, so I felt like I had another home in Ubud.

Best homestay in Ubud!Fantastic homestay in Ubud. Great location. Feels brand new, no moisture or mold, lots of natural light, big spacious room and private bathroom. Cleaned every two days. Breakfast is brought to your balcony every morning as your requested time. The family running it are lovely, welcoming and even accommodated our late arrival. Laundry service available.

Sae sae homestay is the best.I stayed 6 nights alone and Wayan and his family are all so friendly! I had to call the airport because my suitcase was delayed, so I asked Wayan for help, and he kindly helped me.🥹 Thank you so much!!!🙏🏻They also replaced new towels every day and cleaned the room every day if you wanted. (I asked for it once every two days) This place is very reasonably priced and really clean and neat!!The breakfast served every day is delicious and heartily prepared. Thanks to you, I was able to start the day with confidence.Best accommodation in Ubud. 👍🏻If I come to Bali again in the future, I want to visit again.😊 Thank you for the 7 days. Stay healthy everyone. See you again🙏🏻

We stayed 15 days in this Guest House and everything was perfect. The rooms are clean and cleaning is done daily if desired. The breakfast is very good and very complete and the hosts are adorable🩷 I really enjoyed being here, I felt like home. Thank you very much Sae and the whole family. I recommend 100% for excellent value for money.

I would like to experience all the advantages of this place from the reviews, but my booking there was canceled by the owner two days before my arrival, which brought me a lot of difficulties finding a new place to stay.

Such a cute little Homestay right in the Centre of Ubud! It’s located right in between the Ubud temple, Saraswati temple, the art market and the monkey forest. Everything is within walking distance and if not, the Homestay offers a custom taxi service, too. Laundry is doable for 20k/kg. Breakfast was amazing, just perfect to start your day. Also bonus points for the pug, Bombon, who loves a good head scratch but won’t bother you anyhow.

I have traveled quite a bit and this is the best value for money place I have stayed.Managed by a caring local family, new room with private bathroom, hot water, comfortable bedding, spotlessly clean, well furnished and as a bonus a delicious breakfast.The location is ideal, right in the heart of central Ubud. Possibility to rent a scooter, book activities and a driver directly with the owners.Thank you again for this stay!Call them directly to book, it's easier.
