The restaurant has been around since 1981.The interior is a bit old, BUT:Family friendly, great and above all nice and funny service team.Super delicious food.Price/performance top.Always a pleasure, we'll be back!!!

Good German cuisine with delicious dishes!The chef's plate is highly recommended (stuffed schnitzel with Hessian stracke and mustard pickles, with röstie)But also many vegetarian dishes.

Great food. You can order and pick up buffet. I had a nice conversation with the owner and had a good gut feeling. Ordered the food from the Waldschänke.Gluten-free cooking is also available upon request.The guests were thrilled and everyone was fed up.There were no problems with payment either.Gladly again, order here.

The rooms urgently need to be renovated. Everything is wood paneled and pretty dark. Where there should otherwise be skirting boards, not only are they missing, but also wallpaper. Cables sticking out of the wall that are not insulated.The owners are very friendly, you can eat really tasty food in the restaurant and the surroundings are very beautiful and rural.

A quaint restaurant. A delight for meat lovers. Whether schnitzel, steak or cordon bleu. Large selection and portions. Generally a large, varied menu. Unfortunately vegetarian, very one-sided, lots of fried cheese. Prices are already higher. I find the price for 0.4l grape spritzer €5 to be excessive compared to 0.5l beer under €4. Staff friendly and attentive.

Super delicious food! My mother often eats there and I went there for the first time last week and was very impressed!A small, cozy restaurant, completely decorated in the old German style, something you rarely find.I haven't eaten such a good schnitzel in a really long time! :) Great👍🏼

Have eaten there twice so far and have never been disappointed. The extensive menu has something for everyone! It's a shame that such cooking skills have become rare these days. As long as the operators continue, we will remain loyal to them!
