Since we were at around 40 campsites in one year, I can only say that the Wetzlar campsite is one of the most beautiful and comfortable that we have visited. Super nice, friendly operator.Camping site sanitary very clean and with many small details has been made into a paradise. Whether alone or in a group, the place is highly recommended

We stop here regularly.It's great that this place has found a new, committed tenant.The canoe station has been abandoned, so the area will be even quieter and there will be additional parking spaces.The course gets better every year and is renovated and restructured with a lot of commitment.Bread service and a small shop on site, large supermarket within walking distance.The Fischerhütte restaurant in front of the square is always busy and offers delicious food at reasonable prices.The old town is easy to reach on foot or by bike.

We were invited to the Oktoberfest at the “small” but nice campsite.Not far from the Lahn, a beautiful park with a lake, it is a beautiful idyll that invites you to really relax and unwind.The owners are very concerned about the well-being of their guests and try to fulfill every wish.All in all, we had two very nice days at the Wetzlar campsite.Respect and keep it up!!! 👍👍👍

We spent a weekend in Wetzlar and the place has everything you need. Clean and nice sanitary facilities. Very nice and courteous operator. Bread service, late departure possible, …We'd love to come back ☺️

Very nice campsite equipped with a lot of attention to small details.Despite being on the main street, it's quiet.The operator is very nice and helpful. Sanitary facilities are top with daily cleaning.Highly recommended.

super nice, small campsite. (rarely experienced such a beautiful campsite where you can see the attention to detail)The site itself is equipped with supply and disposal facilities and beautiful parking spaces.We were there for 4 nights (THURS-MON) and our spot (No. 20) was a really nice spot. Framed by hedges and with trees that offer both shade and sun.Small decorations (LED chains on trees, a bench on the pitch, or just an old wagon wheel lovingly decorated with flowers) offer coziness throughout the site.Plumbing is top notch! Clean and sufficient in size of the shower cubicles.Kiosk with bread roll service (also cakes) is available.The city of Wetzlar can be easily reached on foot, alternatively public transport is in the immediate vicinity (300 m), and there is also a shopping center there.A Greek restaurant is 20 meters from the square.The campsite itself runs a small beach bar on weekends, with drinks and small snacks (currywurst, pizza, etc.)The busy road that runs past, which was often mentioned here, didn't bother us - the comfort of our parking space blocked everything out. (pure relaxation)The operator of the place is helpful, nice and very friendly.In short: highly recommended and we want to come back for the Christmas market in Wetzlar at the latest.Greetings to the entire team, Wally + Jochen

We were there from September 13th. for 5 nights at this campsite. We have many years of camping experience - the friendliness of the entire team is great. The restaurant recommendations, e.g. B. Bootshaus Wetzlar from the operator is really good. The place is beautifully and lovingly furnished, and the cleanliness and convenience of the sanitary building are excellent.Street noise really isn't a problem...and it's close to the city.Great environment for cycling.Oh yes, almost forgot the Beach Bar!Great! The staff here are also simply great.So an all-round successful stay in Wetzlar. Thank you again and LG!

We stayed at the campsite with 3 married couples for a few nights. Our friends in the little houses Fuchsbau, Ducknest and Kingfisher's Nest. We ourselves in our motorhome.Small but very nice campsite! Located directly on the Lahn.Toilets and shower rooms very well maintained. Patrick happily fulfilled our every wish. Everything is taken care of, greatBreakfast offer.The Greek restaurant “Fischerhütte” is also highly recommended. You can't get a table without registering in advance, which says it all.Thank you again Patrick and Julia. We agree with all 5 star reviews.Great place. Really comfortable.The parking spaces are excellently divided.Sanitary facilities very clean.It's not far into the city.Where do you have campsites where the owner asks if everything is okay.And the road is not very busy at night.Definitely the first choice if we are in the area again.

A very nice, local campsite. Our site was mostly quiet despite a road running past. The operator deserves special mention, as he took good care of our needs and also made special requests possible. The sanitary facilities were mostly renewed (the doors we ordered had not yet been installed in the showers - now there were still curtains) and were always clean despite the space being full. The access system equipped with a code card helps.The attached restaurant had a good offering that was reasonably priced.

Very nice operator, good location. Very clean, tidy campsite. Beautiful pitches, small illuminated details everywhere on the pitches. The beach bar is nicely decorated and the cocktails are very tasty. 1a bread/breakfast service.Sanitary building is always absolutely clean no matter what time of day it is. The showers are very large and comfortable.Definitely worth a trip. We will definitely come back again and again. 👍

We were there with our dog over the weekend and had a nice, large space. The sanitary facilities were clean and everything worked perfectly. Very helpful, friendly staff and operator. The road is busy during the day, but it didn't bother us and everything was really quiet at night. We felt completely comfortable and everything was perfect! The direct Lahn cycle/pedestrian path behind the square was ideal for walks, especially with a dog. You can also walk nicely to Wetzlar. Restaurants are within walking distance. We ordered from the local Greek restaurant and it was very tasty.We will definitely come back.

A super nice campsite! The place is prepared with great attention to detail and offers a family atmosphere. Tents, mobile homes and caravans alike can camp here. If desired, there is breakfast to go (various rolls, croissants, scrambled eggs, etc.). The sanitary facilities are sparkling clean and offer a lot of information about the area and a snack machine in the anteroom. There is a beach bar at the front of the square with delicious drinks and snacks. Opposite there is a sink for washing up and a lounge. The location of the square is great, it's just under 3 km to the old town of Wetzlar on foot or by bike. The train station is about 15 minutes away on foot. The Lahn cycle path begins in the immediate vicinity and there are various entrances for canoeing and kayaking. There are probably some hiking trails nearby, for more information I have to refer to the Fleyer suburb and Google searches. We had a lovely time here :)
