Mediocre food, small portions, too expensive. Cleanliness on the terrace leaves a lot to be desired. Leftover food on the floor, stains on the table top.

Restaurant review. The “Tafelspitz” has been in a new location for a few weeks now. This is very chic, stylishly furnished and is very centrally located near the train station and the shopping center.The waitresses are very friendly and attentive and not too intrusive.The food and drinks always came quickly. The drink selection is very good. The menu changes seasonally and is optimal in terms of the number of dishes on offer (not too overwhelming, but not too few either).Now the most important thing: the food. We were very satisfied with all the starters and main courses! Everything was very tasty and beautifully presented. The prices were completely reasonable and the portions were also sufficient.All in all, definitely a recommendation, for me one of the best restaurants in our area!

For me by far the best restaurant in Limburg. Great food, great service and an even fancier location since the move. I come here every time I'm home and can really recommend everyone to eat here. 👏

We went there for dinner as a family and felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the good food. Central location, yet a quiet outdoor area with plenty of seating. Varied menu with many aperitifs. We chose Prosecco and Crodino which was a good delusion. My wife's wine (Bergdolt-Reif & Nett "Swimming" Rosé - dry) afterwards was also very good, thanks for the recommendation. Overall, the service was super nice and friendly. Both boiled beef and the salmon tartare were great (unfortunately the potato rosti weren't quite cooked through). The children's veal schnitzel was also very good and the Pomeranian for the child was not so salty. Everything is also great at the new location in the Werkstadt. We'd love to come back.

Conclusion in advance: Fantastic German cuisine at the highest level...4 times starter and main course - 4 times unlimited enthusiasm!The Tafelspitz is really stylishly housed in a very nice new location at the train station. Everything fits there. The service is very friendly and the food is a poem from the first to the last bite. When your plate becomes empty, you feel sad that everything is gone... You could continue eating far beyond your available hunger because it is delicious. The selection is the biggest problem, because somehow you want to order everything, everything sounds so delicious.I definitely recommend it and for me it was the best restaurant experience I've had in a long time!

Restaurant: If you are planning a trip for a small group with culinary demands, you cannot always check out the location in advance. What is important is a meaningful website with an up-to-date menu and drinks menu, opening hours, an insight into the ambience and problem-free communication. Given this as a prerequisite for safe planning, the numerous positive reviews were also very helpful. Everything was right here, from the ambience, the quality of the cuisine, the friendly service to the cleanliness. Everyone was completely satisfied, it was a successful evening. The location is very central and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We had excellent food on two evenings and the selection of drinks was also great.Yes, the rooms facing the street are very noisy, but the windows are tight. You just don't want to close them in the summer. The shower cubicle could actually be reattached, but I'm happy to ignore this small defect.In summary, I give a clear recommendation for Tafelspitz. Perfect for a weekend trip in beautiful Limburg. We felt very comfortable.

Rooms feel a bit like hospital stay. No AC so ventilation required opening windows to loud parking lot and restaurant below. No on-site breakfast.

The room is great, only the shower is a disaster, the door came straight towards me, it was broken and the temperature of the water fluctuated between cold and really hot. Abnormal. The staff is changeable. A friendly reception, then not even a good evening. Otherwise yeah...restaurant inviting atmosphere.

We were there for a business meal and it was a very good stay at Tafelspitz. The waitresses were very warm and attentive and all wishes were fulfilled. I thought the concept of the dessert presentation was great. We had a great evening. I personally had the Caesar salad and a cordon bleu, all very tasty and plentiful.

Very tasty food, good wine, great ambience!I had the Cordon Bleu and bacon-wrapped dates as a starter. There was also the Tempranilo. That was very, very tasty!Our friends had the 'Heaven & Earth', which I really liked as a sample. A successful evening with attentive service who looked after us well.We'll be back 🤗

Were only there to eat.Unfortunately it wasn't possible to have a conversation because the acoustics were like a train station hall and a table with around 10 people made a lot of noise.The food was nothing special but still good.The service was friendly, but unfortunately the constant asking if everything was OK was a bit annoying.Won't go back as I like to chat while eating and enjoy my food.
