Pension Platzhirsch

We were in the guesthouse on business as we were passing through. The reservation went well over the phone, but unfortunately that's the only positive thing I can mention. There are a total of 8 rooms with at least 2 beds and ONE bathroom for all. The bathroom itself is very nice and high quality, but it is quite difficult to agree with a bunch of strangers in the morning who goes to the bathroom and when. There were only foreign guests there, which didn't make communication any easier.The rooms are ok, minimalistically furnished, but we're only there to sleep anyway, so that's not a problem. The stairs to rooms 7 and 8 under the roof are an adventure with luggage.I can't say anything about the service, we didn't notice it. In my room under the attic there was a niche with a sink and toilet. There was still a greeting from the previous guest in the toilet and toothpaste on the floor under the sink. That doesn't have to be the case, especially when the night costs 74 euros. I can stay somewhere else in a hotel with a private bathroom and breakfast cheaper...

I can mostly agree with Mr. Mösser’s assessment. Unbeatable price for €40 a night via booking. Otherwise just a craftsman's accommodation with improvable cleanliness. Everything was a bit rocky, very noisy, loud snack machine.If you are looking for a cheap room you will find it here. If you expect more, probably not.

Internet disaster. The rest 7/10.

There was no cleanliness, completely wrong or misleading description of the rooms/equipment. Contrary to the description, there are only shared toilets and showers. Very! alert. Accommodation is almost exclusively used by workers. Dirty construction clothes and shoes were hung up to dry in the bathroom. Unrest until around midnight and from 4:30 in the morning. Drinks/snack machine in the hallway that sounds like a plane taking off. No hairdryer, broken oven (shared kitchen), ancient washing machine (smells)....not recommended.Update: Owner said we could have contacted the cleaner about cleanliness, for example. We did that.Cobwebs, spiders on the ceiling, vacuuming next to and under the beds. Unfortunately it was ignored and we didn't feel like making our stay any more miserable. Kitchen was fine in that respect. Oven doesn't get really hot. Baking the rolls took about half an hour. Bathroom was also clean after the cleaner was through (except for a few unsightly spots in the shower). But what use is it if the roommates piss next to the toilet, don't use a toilet brush and take off their construction clothes there and leave them there? All in all, there is simply no indication that this is workers' accommodation and that there are "no bathrooms" in the room. For that alone you would have to get half the price back.

Very well located and well-maintained small guesthouse with a great host who takes care of guests' needs quickly and easily. My husband and I spent several nights in the guesthouse and visited my family nearby. The rooms are clean and modernly furnished. There is also a coffee and snack machine, which provided us with some amenities in the form of delicious coffee, beers for my husband and sweets at fair prices. The staff was also nice and friendly. Behind the house there is direct access to nature, which our dog and we enjoyed for long walks. We can only recommend the guesthouse and we would be happy to come back

Impossible. The guesthouse was overbooked and so a few of us had to spend the night on simple extra beds and others spontaneously found new accommodation at 6 p.m. 1 bathroom for 12 people...
