We stayed in the adjacent guest house on the first floor for one night. Unfortunately, the building is very noisy, which I'm not used to in hotels. You could hear everything from the hallway and the other rooms.The room itself was divided into a small hallway, an adjoining "passage room", and then the room with a bed (160x200).The room was offered as a comfort room. Anyone who sought comfort did so in vain. The bed was torture. Saggy and therefore very painful. When getting up you had to be careful not to get stuck on the wall, as the room is only 220cm wide.The room also has a very small bathroom.Breakfast on Sunday morning was very manageable. When we asked for scrambled eggs, we were told the kitchen was closed. Even after the last two hard-boiled eggs were taken from and, no more eggs were added (it was 8:00 a.m. at the time)I wouldn't book this hotel again even though the proximity to the city center was very pleasant.

Hotel with several guest houses. We lived with our dog in a large two-bed room with a small hallway in which there was a wardrobe. There was a walk-in shower in the bathroom. The room led to an outdoor area with seating. The breakfast, which was offered in the main building, was lovingly prepared and had a good selection. The location of the hotel is very good. You can reach the old town in just a few minutes on foot. The staff was very pleasant. Dog friendly. However, there are few green spaces in the immediate vicinity.

I can recommend the hotel.Everyone was very friendly, there is a lockable bicycle garage and I thought the breakfast with lots of fresh fruit was great.

Fabulous stopover on the journey south. Very nice, modern and sparkling clean rooms in the old walls (Schwalm House, with stairs). Well-equipped, spacious shower. Very tasty dinner in the restaurant. Excellent breakfast with high-quality details (homemade jam, peanut butter from Alnatura, good cold cuts, fresh rolls, etc.). Very good price-performance ratio, also in the restaurant. Nice, customer-oriented service. A few minutes walk to the magical old town (you have to see it!). Gladly again!

Are back at Klingelhöfer. As always very satisfied. Nice breakfast. The food in the restaurant is very good! In just a few minutes you can be in the old town. There is a parking lot behind the house. Everything was great!

We had booked a double room for one night. The room was quite large and equipped with a double bed, small couch, table, 2 chairs, television, telephone and wardrobe. The adjacent, very large bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer. Free parking is possible in the hotel's own parking spaces or on the street.The large breakfast buffet was very appetizing and left nothing to be desired.

Very nice and beautifully located hotel on the edge of Alsfeld's old town. You can be in the old town in no time. The rooms are completely okay, you should just let us know beforehand how tall you are so that you can get a room with a suitable bathroom. The breakfast buffet is rich. The staff is super friendly 😊👍... I can only recommend the hotel 👍👍👍

I stayed one night, improvised at 8.30pm, after having been left on foot with the rental car and having missed the flight back to Italy. Both girls at the reception were very kind in helping me and putting up with my anxiety due to my vicissitudes. Clean, very nice room. Fantastic breakfast. Croissants, fruit, juices, eggs, and so on and so forth.

I had a spacious double room for single use. Nice was very comfortable.2 drawbacks: The windows in the adjacent building let the street noise through virtually unprotected and the large shower tray poses an extremely high risk of slipping.Breakfast buffet was okay, but I would have liked bakery rolls instead of baked goods.
