Spent the weekend there. A very well maintained hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and stylishly furnished. We didn't order breakfast. Unfortunately, the kettle with coffee and tea mentioned in the offer was not available in the room. Alternatively, the machine in the breakfast room was available. A bit inconvenient for a room on the fourth floor. Very comfortable beds and special mention should be made of the soundproofing. The room faced the street and there was hardly any noise in the room. Very pleasant. The garage costs €8 per day. Absolutely fine for me.We would be happy to come back when visiting Dresden.

The hotel now belongs to another hotel chain. Everything is currently being changed. The staff is friendly and strives to keep guests happy. The room was nicely furnished, but unfortunately not clean, there was a lot of hair from previous guests and the carpet could have been vacuumed better. We found trash and a hair tie. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, but unfortunately there was far too little space for all the hotel guests. After 8 o'clock you had to wait until a table was free. The location is good, about 40 minutes walk to the city center, or you can take the bus, the bus stop is right next to the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Dresden South. The rooms are neat and clean, which ensures a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent - a large selection and everything freshly prepared. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly staff, who were always helpful and courteous. However, a refrigerator or minibar in the room would be a nice addition. Overall, I can only recommend this hotel!

Instead of the booked Holiday Inn, there is a B&B hotel. There is no Wi-Fi in the room, only in the lobby, but it is also very slow. In addition, the mobile internet is also horribly slow, I think there is a lot of shadowing. The room is very small and is not equipped with anything that would give a small "premium" feeling.

It is no longer the Holiday in but is now part of B&B. We were there 2 years ago and thought the hotel was great, so we chose this hotel again.About the rooms - they weren't clean, we've stayed in a few hotels but that really doesn't have to be the case. There were pubic hairs everywhere in the bathroom, even on my nightstand, probably always using the same rag. There were no toothbrush cups in the room either, for whatever reason. Normally there are always cups in the bathroom in a double room. The mattresses were very sagging, you could also see the hollow. Furthermore, she smelled very much like a welder. Disgusting! My husband canceled breakfast for the second day; he expected something different for €12.50. There weren't even scrambled eggs. The WiFi didn't work either. We will visit a different hotel on our next trip to Dresden.

It's now a B&B hotel and that makes a difference at breakfast. That could be better, the service was really trying but sometimes just overwhelmed. The price-performance ratio is okay and the location to the old town is good.

I came to this hotel through the B&B app, for work I sleep in hotels of this chain or others every week.Without a doubt it is the best I have found in these 5 years of travel.First point, very much in its favor, a very friendly receptionist who knew my last name as soon as I arrived, different bathroom items for sale at reception in case you need them, good breakfast, spacious, clean rooms with a pleasant temperature...More than surprised with this hotel.Congratulations and thank you very much

We booked and paid for a 4 star hotel and found a low budget hotel in the middle of a chaotic change of operator.Unfortunately, we were not informed in any way by the new operator before our arrival and we simply feel cheated.Neither the advertised hotel nor the associated bar and restaurant were available. There were no kettles in the rooms, no minibar, no possibility to make tea or coffee. Not even drinking glasses, let alone the ability to buy from a vending machine. All that was left was the remaining stock from the closed bar at the Holiday Inn.We are very disappointed.Only the bed was comfortable. And the TV worked. The room cleaning was a matter of luck.We are sorry that we cannot comment positively. Because the hotel employees do their best. They can't help it that there is only one slow, fully automatic coffee machine in the breakfast room, which also has to prepare hot water for all the tea drinkers.

The hotel (now B&B) is on a quiet residential street just outside the city center but has a good direct bus connection to the center. The rooms are good and also big. I found the tub in the bathroom to be a bit old. The staff were friendly. The breakfast for 12€ was OK but not more. Unfortunately there was only a very slow coffee machine where there was a long queue for breakfast. Maybe think about a second one.Overall, the price for the hotel is completely reasonable. And we even found a free parking space on the street
