PROS:Exceptionally clean premises and rooms, situated close to the center of Ubud, yet sufficiently separated from the noisy pubs on the main road. They have a small pool adjacent to a paddy field. I stayed here for two days with my wife and 3 year old kid. Everything from restaurants and pubs to bike rentals and money exchange centers are accessible within a few minutes of walking. Ubud palace, Saraswati temple, the monkey forest and many other attractions can be reached by scooter in less than 10 minutes. The hotel is run by a bunch of brothers. They also provide cab shuttle services to and from various places in Bali. My transfer from the airport to their place was arranged by them on my request through booking.com. They are extremely polite, very reasonable and supportive. They have a simple and inexpensive breakfast menu with 4-5 options that is just perfect.CONS:There is not much to dislike here. The only thing that is slightly troubling is the narrow path spanning around 100-200 meters from the main road to their place, which is wide enough for a scooter or two to get through but not enough for a car. Carrying luggage to and from the main road is therefore slightly tedious, but to be clear, this is certainly not a deal breaker.Overall I would highly recommend Gerhana Sari 2 bungalows to anyone looking for a calm and quiet, no-frills stay in Ubud.

Although there are many positive reviews, I unfortunately have to say that we were not satisfied. The owners are really nice and helpful, but we had a lot of ants in the room. The bathroom smelled strongly and the bed linen and pillows smelled musty. Maybe the other rooms are better but not the room on the ground floor on the far right.

Basic but well located guest house in central Ubud. Close to Monkey Forest, restaurants and some bars. Breakfast was yummy! (I recommend the banana pancake). They have a small but refreshing pool as well which came as a plus to us.It is located right next to a rice terrace with occasional monkey visit.The staff is very kind, efficient, accomodating and even offered to drive us to our next destination for a very affordable price compared to the price offered off the main street.We will definitely stay there again!

Stayed for 4 nights. The host was so friendly and I felt very comfortable as if I was at home. It's next to a rice field and there were almost no bugs.At night, you can hear the sound of a live bar on the side of the road.There was no major problem. Best accommodation

Great quiet cozy hotel! What I was looking for - Very quiet and beautiful view of the rice fields, but at the same time in the very center of Ubud. There are many shops and restaurants around. You don't need to go anywhere, everything is within walking distance. The rooms and area are always exceptionally clean. The hotel is run by 3 brothers - very nice and helpful. They themselves offered to pick me up from the airport at night. It was very thoughtful. If you book, you can write to them directly at the WhatsApp phone number indicated in the description.

Fantastic accommodation, so glad I stayed there.I think i had the best room! Top left at the back as you walk in.Huge outdoor terrace with a comfy outdoor lounge, overlooking lush greenery, pool, rice paddies.Big clean room and bathroom.Tea and coffee facilities, daily bottled water.Fantastic hosts, clean the room daily, cook breakfast for you and serve it to you on your terrace. Delicious.Great quiet location, walking distance to everything.The best warung next door as well, dont miss it.

It's really amazing guest house running by 3 brother's. Amazing view , everything make u feel great. Very good price and amazing rooms. Just need to install TV with Netflix. Also need to install Toilet bidet in all rooms.

Lovely low-key accommodation run by a family, the brothers are so kind, took care of anything I needed, collected me from the airport, and made sure I had a taxi when leaving. The location is perfect for exploring Ubud. I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks guys!!
