Houda Bouda

The pension is more for undemanding customers.. I don't mean that there is anything wrong, but it could be done better.. It's a shame that they don't have their own bar where you can continue to have a drink in the evening.. But otherwise clean, calm, everything was all right..

The house isn't very old, but the negative thing was that it was pretty noisy. We regularly heard the chairs being moved in the dining room.The house has 2 entrances, the keys are left in an envelope with a name on it in a blue box (and walk around the house). The room was tidy and the bathroom was ok. 👌🏻The breakfast was absolutely fine for the price of the room. The tables are really sticky, you could wipe them a little more often. The bed was nice and hard.All in all recommended for the price 👍🏻

Well, the breakfast is satisfactory, I think that nowadays buying a smaller coffee machine would not be a problem. We had two apartments, they look decent, but the equipment of the kitchen with standard dishes such as a pan and a pot would be better, maybe even a knife, there was simply a general lack of dishes and when there were, they were broken or incomplete. No one wants to boil, but maybe even the grater or the sharp knife and dishes can be bought at Ikea. The apartments look newly renovated, but it needs at least a weekly maintenance, check the hinges, screw the door, the bathroom, the tiles glued with insulating tape, etc. According to the photos, it's nice, even when you arrive, but then it ends. The rooms have a duplex, but you can't even open the windows at the top, only a fan, but you can open the window through the inner frame, but if you manage to do it, water flows from the window and joints directly into the bed. It is written self-service apartments but also with self-repair 🤣. A broken cabinet with a shelf, a leaking shower, a non-functioning shower (even after an emergency, no fix), we fixed most things. We insisted on toilet paper, we still bought it, but it was still not possible to insist on something and it was stupid for us.Beds normal, slept well, sheets too, towels too. There is a washing machine downstairs, but it does not ventilate the room where there is humidity and then you can smell the corridor. The Internet is only down and won't go up, we didn't care, we're on vacation, but who needs to work, probably not much. No one cleaned the corridors for a whole week, you don't want to carry it into your room.We had half-board, breakfast, I say again, was enough, maybe vegetables as other reviewers write, dinner was at Sněhulak across the street (it was amazing, service, food and everything around, I recommend it)In general, there is a lack of a maintenance worker, things are small to repair, but there is enough. Houda looks good on the outside, but on the inside too, there are a lot of small mistakes and you will notice it. Worse ratings both on booking and here regarding maintenance and food are answered, it is enough for the manager or the owner to come once a week to write in a notebook what needs to be done and it would be fine. But I feel sorry for the lady or lady who makes breakfast for apartments and boarding houses, to whom people then come and urge small things. And I don't accept it, when I pay, I don't get an invoice, but if I just want a confirmation of payment and you give someone a lot of money, maybe you want a classic document, so I received a confirmation of payment on a sheet that wasn't even a tax document, but some kind of confirmation for foreigners about residence .We took it because of the location and we know Boží Dar, and we chose Houda Bouda because there was no room anywhere else. We were there for a week, hence the long review. But the apartments were quiet, which was one of the advantages. The water was warm and flowing. It wouldn't be for someone for about a week, but for a sleepover for two or three days, why not. It was affordable, it wasn't expensive, otherwise we enjoyed it. Just maintain it better and it would be better. I rate it 3.5 out of 5.

Small accommodation, beds are a bit old. It's fine for 1 night.Overnight stay with breakfast at an unbeatable price.

Actually the guesthouse wouldn't get a star. There was no one there when we arrived, we had to call and we were told where the key was. There was an envelope in the mailbox with our key in it and a message telling us when breakfast was from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A contact person wasn't there either. If you didn't come to breakfast on time, you didn't get much, because nothing was repacked. Payment is only in cash. I can't recommend the guesthouse to anyone.

That's how I would briefly summarize the accommodation in room No. 6.The property looks relatively ok from the outside, but not so ok inside.There are dirty and worn walls everywhere in the room. When you open the door to the bathroom, cigarette smoke mixed with the stench of a septic tank will waft at you. This is really something you want to experience as soon as you arrive. While sitting on the toilet, you can enjoy looking at the broken tiles under the sink for a change. You simply won't get bored here.Mold on the beams, mold around the windows, mold behind the bed, just mold everywhere you look."beds", if you can call it that, I won't even comment.Another specialty was a broken cabinet sealed with insulating tape.Breakfast included? No, thank you. Instant coffee and 20% juice? This is a mockery.Thank goodness we were only here for one night.

It is VERY dirty here, cupboard doors are falling apart because they are not attached properly, chairs are super dirty + slight water damage. The drawers and cutlery, pots... are not properly clean and there is hair and crumbs everywhere. If you call the owner several times because you have questions, he is very annoyed, which is not possible for me. Would never come here again. Really disgusting!!! Not recommended!!!

Great place close to 2 slopes

Very dirty. Ok for animals but not people.The building is located right next to one of the most popular ski resorts in the village. Our apartment was warm and spacious and is slightly cheaper than other alternatives in Bozi Dar.But overall Houda Bouda is really bad. We had booked an apartment with two rooms and instead we only got one room, with the children sleeping on sofas in the living room.The rooms are in urgent need of renovation. Many lights don't work and the mechanical ventilation in the bathroom (no windows) doesn't work. The soap dispenser in the shower is empty.We were really amazed at how dirty our apartment was. The floors were dusty and there was hair from previous residents on the sofas. We talked to the owner about it and his solution was that we should use the vacuum cleaner! Cream from the previous residents stuck to the shelves in the refrigerator. All the plates and glasses stick either to themselves or to the shelves. All surfaces in the apartment and in the breakfast room are sticky. I don't think this apartment is cleaned at all. I would only recommend this apartment if you absolutely have to come to Bozi Dar and nothing else is available. Bring your own cleaning supplies!
