Hello, we stayed here for 3 days. I have to say the hotel is very well located as a starting point. A positive thing to mention is that the staff is very friendly and attentive, but we had to wait several times for the gentleman at the reception (certainly not intentional as he was always alone in this position) but it was still annoying if you had an urgent request! The breakfast was very rich and also delicious! There was something for everyone. The drinks in the bar were affordable and the mixed drinks weren't too alcoholic either😉However, I have to say that based on the pictures I wouldn't have thought I would be traveling back to the 70s 🫣 the hotel is long past its best years and even if you try to keep everything running, I think it would be necessary to do the whole thing over again to rotate! So if you can live with the charm of time, you shouldn't hesitate! Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed during our visit and the sauna was fully booked. I think for us it will just be a visit! Nevertheless, thank you for the good service!

Completely unsuitable for a vegan diet and only carrots and vegetables every day. Bean salad with rice, well not sparkling. Rooms need renovation, sauna without a relaxation room makes little sense and the gym is also closed. Area a dream for hiking and cycling!

A beautiful environment! Sights and attractions can be reached in a few minutes by car. The “hotel” is more of a hostel with charm from GDR times.In-house zoo and pool as well as wellness. Minus point: Breakfast is always the same, no fruit or sausage spreads. Coffee machine and soup machine broken, billiards broken, pool only usable in the evening. Information at the reception about deficiencies was woken up with a smile.The stay is completely sufficient for a few days. The plus point is of course the way to the Czech (approx. 5 minutes)

Spent a pleasant weekend here. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is family friendly.Breakfast offers a rich buffet. Fresh bread rolls are always replenished.There are various dishes to choose from for dinner and you can also help yourself to the cold and warm buffet as you wish.All in all a recommendable hotel.

The Lugsteinhof is always a great place for my family to unwind. For adults there is the salt cave, massages and a beautiful museum in the hotel itself, who are very interested in winter sports. For small and young guests, there are animals that can be fed early. Young people can have fun in the on-site swimming pool. In the evening there is always an event for young and old. There are many excursions on offer and the bus will even pick you up in front of the hotel. My family and I have been to the Lugsteinhof 13 times and we look forward to being there again and again. Food was super great. It is a bit shabby, but if you see and love the view, the shabby shouldn't be too important. I would like to thank the Lugsteinhof team for the great time always with you.

The building itself has been around for several years and can certainly tell a story or two. It is currently being renovated and a bit of color is being added. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired for the price. There are even two-bedroom family rooms.

Dilapidated and unkempt facility, overwhelmed staff, food tastes like a bag/can or is prepared with a lot of sugar (e.g. red cabbage, tomato-minced meat sauce). I didn't feel comfortable at all and, despite the great location and many leisure options, I will not book this hotel again.

The hotel has a generously sized parking lot, the room (207) was in perfect condition, everything was clean and scented, and the storage space was large. The room with many lights and 220 V sockets was pleasantly heated, hot water without restrictions. The surroundings of the hotel are quiet, the soundproofing of the room is excellent, the bed with a high semi-firm mattress is comfortable, the bed linen is pleasant, I slept excellently. Rich breakfast (buffet), everything fresh, continuously replenished. The nature around is beautiful, the walks are perfect, the hotel pool is great, the water is pleasant. We really liked the hotel with the friendly and helpful staff, the price fully corresponds to the offered standard, SUPER for us, we will definitely come back. And after half a year we actually came back :) this time room 315, again everything was great. Third stay after a year (room 247), dtto, we only register unpleasant fluctuations in the water temperature when showering and almost the whole day the pool is reserved for the school... We visited the nearby Georgenfelder park and used the hotel card discount :) I still consider the hotel excellent - luxury it's not, but great for the price.

The outside was showing its age and we realized that our room was also very old. The flair of the 90s could not be overlooked. In addition to the not very comfortable beds, we also had a sofa in the room. It was so worn out that we didn't want to sit on it. The carpet was also very dirty. We were traveling with a larger group. Some had a renovated room. There was nothing wrong there. But why are these rooms offered at the same price. Couldn't we at least call the old rooms economy and offer them a little cheaper? Then you know what you're getting into. I wouldn't have expected anything different for a youth hostel or a hostel, but a hotel was far from it. This continues with the food on offer. We had booked half board. The breakfast was okay. Not phenomenal, but with enough offerings. But the dinner in the form of a buffet didn't work for me at all in terms of price-performance ratio. The warm ingredients reminded me visually of school meals, so I didn't want to eat any of it. So all I had left was rolls with cheese and salad. In the end it was worth my 16 euros. Dessert was always the same. What it was, I won't. I appreciate red fruit jelly with vanilla sauce or vanilla pudding with fruit. The same applies to the cake that was served for breakfast and dinner.
