Single room - Smell: moldy, musty like a smoking room - Carpet: extremely worn - Room no. on the door: first digit broken, second digit missing, third perfect! That's why I stopped going to a restaurant. Breakfast - standard: half-warm scrambled eggs, otherwise nothing special.

Lots of charm online, low standards on site!Clean but uninviting atmosphere. The hotel is located on the thoroughfare and has no guest parking spaces on site. For a daily fee of €10, the car can be parked at the thermal baths, a five-minute walk away. You may park briefly at the back door for packing and unpacking. If you lose your parking chip card, you will be charged €20. There was no information about this when it was handed out at reception. The house is getting old and, especially when it comes to the interior, made a very dull, unloving impression to me.When moving into room 115, I overlooked a doorstop lying in the middle of the room, with painful consequences. All house noises from the stairs and hallway could be heard in the room. Light shone through the crack in the closed door. The small single bed was right by this door. The view was of a gray wall. The bathroom was small but clean. There were very warm, uninsulated pipes running in one corner of the room - when the outside temperature was over 30 degrees and there was no AC, the room was far too warm for me. Unfortunately, opening the windows at night resulted in insects coming in.The view from the roof terrace, which is equipped with garden lounge furniture, is quite nice. A vending machine is available for drinks and snacks. Unfortunately the terrace itself was very untidy. In general the house was clean and there was a welcome bottle of water in the room. There is a restaurant in the house where a solid breakfast buffet is offered. The menu in the restaurant was quite small, but looked good. However, I decided not to try it out.The terrace in front of the hotel/restaurant is neat, but didn't invite me to linger. The staff was approachable and friendly, but not particularly attentive. The hotel is clearly too expensive for all of this! All in all, a solid disappointment!I would have liked to speak to the manager briefly, but a request to call her has been ignored until today (1 week).

We spent 5 days at the Hotel Lindenhof and would like to thank the owner and the entire staff very much. The hotel is very nice, our room was large, everything was very clean and the staff were unobtrusively friendly. The location is ideal, very close to the market, the park and the Elbe. We thought the roof terrace was great. Sitting in the evening at sunset with a view of the Lilienstein is unbeatable. The garden in front of the house is also very beautiful. Sitting under the trees for dinner (food very good) was simply wonderful. I would also like to mention the breakfast. The buffet was incredible, there was everything you could think of and it was constantly being replenished. This is not a given. We travel a lot and have unfortunately experienced questionable breakfast options on several occasions. The atmosphere in the hotel is very nice, it is stylishly furnished and has a feel-good character. All in all we had a very nice time and will come back, then with bikes. Thanks again.

We had the Kutscherhaus apartment and breakfast in the hotel. It was a very nice stay. The accommodation was very well maintained and had everything you need. Ideal base for hikes. The breakfast was extremely good, rich and varied. The service is a dream. You knew where you preferred to sit, reservations were made there and special requests such as a cappuccino were noted and brought directly to you by the service when asked. In addition, there was always a piece of paper “Lindenblatt” at the breakfast table in the morning with information about possible hikes, event tips and the weather. Great attention to detail. At the reception you always got good tips and information about your stay. What more could you want?Clearly a 5 star plus recommendation!
