If I could give it less than 1*, I would do so.The entire hotel is unsightly, run down and simply neglected. We only noticed staff at the reception once when checking in - after that there was no one to be seen in the hotel. Here you get the impression that things are still going on somehow.The entrance area already smells musty, as if water damage has dried and not been repaired. The decay and backlog of renovations can be seen everywhere: chipped tables in the breakfast room, chipped walls in the rooms, weeds everywhere. The room was a complete disaster: there was a flattened cockroach on the wall directly above the bed - I can't explain why the cleaning staff didn't see THAT. The floor is dirty, the previous occupant's greasy fingers on the sanding varnish. But the absolute eye-catcher was the desk chair: scratched by a cat (could you borrow it downstairs in the animal room ????), the artificial leather peeled off and broken... something like that belongs in the bulky waste and not in a hotel room . When we arrived, we stood in front of the hotel and seriously considered whether we should actually go in. We should have listened to our gut feeling and then we would have been spared the rest.

Perfect hotel for visiting the black forest, on the outskirts of the town, no problem for driving, they let us park in the underground parking free of charge, and they also leave Coca-Cola beer and water in the refrigerator so you can enjoy a pleasant stay.Quite a detail.The very large room.

The rooms are very nice... but the breakfast doesn't work at all... cheap baked rolls are always empty because only 4 to 5 rolls come, bread from the pack, toast is put in the pack. Cheese and sausage are constantly empty. 20 minutes before 10 a.m. it's already cleared away... any bakery outside is better.

Very run down. Rooms are attractive but dirty and a lot of things are broken. When I entered the room I had the doorknob in my hand. Curtain hanging down, bathroom dirty.No staff to be found. After asking about the bar in the lower area, I was told that they turn on the lights and check on us every now and then.So no service.There are buckets in the training room that collect water from the ceiling.If you want to visit the sauna you have to register 30 minutes in advance, then it will be turned on.Parking fee in front of the house 10 euros is greatly exaggerated.In the entrance area there is a large window behind which an animal is supposed to live in a totally filthy room... Everything covered in poop and without fresh water or food. There was no sign of the animal.I was totally shocked by the completely unkempt outdoor area. The parasols were completely full of holes and dirty. The so-called pool resembles a dirty pond that hasn't been cleaned in ages.Has nothing to do with the pictures on the internet.I wouldn't recommend the hotel even for 1 night, I was happy when I left. I felt totally uncomfortable. I'm really not spoiled but that was subpar.We booked the hotel room because the hotel we had previously booked was fully booked and we wanted to extend another night. It's a shame our short vacation ended like this.

Well, where do I start?The reception was nice and prompt, and we were also given a free parking space. Thank you very much at this point.The hotel is very well located. Quite close to the center, easy to reach on foot or by car.Hotel garden, surroundings, parking lot: You immediately notice that it is not a well-kept hotel in the 4/5 star category. Everything is getting old and nothing is cared for.The room (only room without bathroom) is very well maintained, new looking, and clean. It's not big, but normal for this category. The free minibar is, yes, free, but only has 5 drinks in it. But that's all great so far. You don't need anything more.The bathroom is very dated. Some of it is very uncleanly cleaned (traces from the previous owner and dust, etc.). The silicone in the joints is not only installed very poorly, it is also old and worn out. The Leifheit fold-out cloth stand has seen better days. A bit "dingy", but otherwise ok (although ok is insufficient in the hospitality industry).pets in the hotel; a really wonderful and beautiful idea. Very friendly and familiar. The animals have plenty of space and are clearly doing well. But it also needs to be looked after!The breakfast is classic German, quite large. Delicious chicken wings, sausages and eggs are also offered. Rest standard, but good and successful. Savings were made on bread and its variations. Unfortunately!The service is very bad. Coffee machine offline for a long time because there is no water or something else is not ok. The service didn't come by once to clear away. Hence the very large trash cans on the table...? The breakfast room is very cold. It doesn't matter to men, women have to dress well!After a short time the buffet looked very "messy". Unfortunately it was hardly refilled.The garden would invite you to linger, but it is hardly or not at all usable. There is a lack of money and entrepreneurial know-how. Completely neglected, used and worn out. There was a hint of will, but only a hint. We quickly got into fitness because this was always emphasized. The fitness is so useless. I've experienced a lot as a restaurateur, but definitely not that. Water drips from the ceiling from three places. Rags and kettles show that the operator is also aware of this. Some sports equipment was wet, the parquet floor was wet and partially dissolved, etc. A very sad sight that hurts my gastronomic heart. It reminds me of an abandoned ship.Dear Dormero Group, is that your goal as a tenant with this house?Dear Ms./Mr. Wöhrl, can we sit together for once?I strongly advise you to reconsider this concept as quickly as possible and act now.

Price/performance absolutely OK. .Rooms clean and spacious.Staff very helpful and friendly. For breakfast I can recommend the cafe, the scrambled eggs and the salmon. Unfortunately the gardener died.

We wanted to book the hotel for two nights. We also did this spontaneously via Check24, unfortunately the reception was no longer manned at 10 p.m. The key cards are then simply left on the reception counter, which is basically not a bad thing. However, as soon as you entered the lobby you had a strange feeling. It wasn't clean either. My partner then took the room cards and wanted to look at the room or into the room, but what she found was anything but nice. Room not clean. Everything was poorly renovated. Beds and furniture are in absolutely terrible condition. How the hotel can keep the 4 stars is incomprehensible to me. We left it immediately and canceled it via check24, unfortunately we are now still behind on half the amount. All very unfortunate. I definitely don't recommend anyone to stay there overnight. Unless you want to catch something. There is also a smell of sewage in the bathroom. The elevator didn't work on our floor so you had to walk down the outside stairs.

The reception and the staff were super friendly and very fond of animals (we came with a dog). The whole hotel is very pet-friendly and dogs are allowed to go everywhere. The rooms themselves are ok too. Definitely big and spacious. Our room was clean and had a great block into the Black Forest.Points are deducted for the system and the exterior. The hotel is very old. The green area in front of the hotel is also very neglected. It is very dark inside and the hallway has little light. The restaurant is also closed and only opens for breakfast.I don't think it's very good that different animals are kept in every Domero chain and that it is therefore described as the most animal-friendly hotel. There was a squirrel (kept alone) and 2 reptiles for which the enclosure was, in my opinion, too small.The plus point was the small minibar in the room with 4 free drinks. The bed was also super comfortable and the location was very quiet.All in all, our stay here was a 3/5. However, something should definitely be done to the facility to improve its appearance.

Absolutely not recommended. It smells and stinks in the entrance area. We felt like we were in a zoo. Unfortunately, we were asked several times in front of the hotel whether we wanted to go to the room. Maybe you should rethink your marketing strategy and put the money into renovation. The hotel is getting old. Sorry, never like that again.

The hotel on the edge of the forest is quiet and the rooms are spacious and modern. In addition, the price is significantly lower than the otherwise overpriced hotels in the city. I come regularly
