A little hidden away you will find the small, cozy Hotel Durmersheim. The service staff and the hotel management are very polite and accommodating. Extra requests were accepted and taken into account. We were traveling with a walker. The room was handicapped accessible and comfortably furnished... VERY GOOD... There was an air conditioning unit in the room... also very good given the temperatures. PARKING is also available. There was a good variety for breakfast. We'd love to come back.

Hotel: well - I went back and forth between 2 + 3 stars...Room - small and cleanService - not available (reception not occupied)Location - in the industrial areaBreakfast - not special, but actually enough choice and also plentifulBreakfast room - very simple, almost sterile...Eating/snack not possible in the evening!!! (no kitchen)Conclusion: 2 stars are not enough / 3 stars are too many

Very well located between Rastatt and Karlsruhe. With the commuter train about 15 min. approximately. Very comfortable rooms, clean and at a good price. Excellent food. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We will return for sure.

The room was nice and quiet, otherwise I find the price for one night (€84.00 without breakfast) much too expensive.The positive thing here is that I had a nice, quiet room. I think I was the only guest in the entire hotel. So I slept wonderfully until 10 a.m. in the morning.There was no check-in and check-out because the reception was not occupied. Everything that needed to be discussed was done over the phone. The owner wasn't even there. I should just leave the money for the overnight stay in cash in the room. I found that a bit strange.During the phone call on Easter Sunday, when I actually wanted to register to check in, I was told that unfortunately I couldn't have breakfast in the hotel because I was the only breakfast guest and the staff had been given permission.That was a bit bad because my daughter hadn't bought anything and we had to make do somehow the next day. There were rolls at the bakery, but no toppings, no eggs, etc. It would have been better to find out more here earlier.I also found the old tiles in the room and bathroom very ugly. The bathroom looks pretty new, so I wonder why they didn't replace the floor tiles here too. Okay, not that bad, as long as it's clean.But the crowning glory was the “bed rug” (see photo of the room). That's not possible at this price, it was so ugly, just a towel that was placed on the floor!My conclusion:I will no longer book here, but would rather book in the hotel where I always stayed in Hagsfeld. There you will at least be greeted personally and the rooms are nicer and cheaper at the same time and there is also breakfast.

What particularly impressed me was the incredible cleanliness of the entire hotel. The attention to detail, especially in the bathroom, is excellent.A good breakfast, well stocked and a coffeewhich also tastes like home. No air conditioning but a fan in every room. A small minibar is available. Wi-Fi in the room is really very good. Wheelchair accessible. There is also a small garden with a playground. The hotel is located in the middle of the commercial area but also surrounded by lots of nature. Ideal as a dog owner. And you pay attention to which areas the guests with or without dogs are accommodated among each other.Unfortunately, THE reception is only staffed on arrival and departure, which also has disadvantages.Price performance is reasonable because the cleanliness differs significantly from other providers. The small hotel is not yet fully developed in the upper area. ThisBut as a guest you don't really notice it as a nuisance. The actual contact person during your stay is the cleaning staff who also takes care of breakfast or other things and is a real all-rounder.The security provided by a sophisticated door system and Corona measures do what they are supposed to do without being intrusive.We wish the hoteliers the best for their future and the all-rounder a big tip, which I unfortunately forgot. This will be done on the next visit.

Out of three bookings, we were informed twice on site that the (expressly large) booked room was not available because the guest wanted to stay longer. Instead of relocating, we should have made do with a small room again, even though we explicitly booked the large room and that was what we were promised. But this time we didn't accept that and left. That's not how you treat guests. This is what a three star hotel wants to be. Absolutely overpriced too. Never this hotel again.
