Nice short stay in the Black Forest. Delicious and quite plentiful breakfast. The innkeepers are very nice. The hotel is located directly on cycling and hiking trails. Very quiet and idyllic. Restaurant is also there. Mini golf directly opposite.

Great view, breakfast very plentiful for two people. Food, price, performance and quality are right. Food was very good. Unfortunately you can't come after 8 p.m., then there won't be anything to eat.

Friendly, courteous, polite staff, delicious, extensive breakfast, everything served with love, nice, cozy room with a huge balcony where you can unwind and the trees calm you down and give you strength to return to everyday life. The pond in front of the door entices you to jog or take a leisurely walk. Shops also nearby. Perfect destination for a short vacation!Gabi

We were there for dinner today (12/26/22).The Christmas menu was simply fantastic. Very tasty, highly recommended.We were served very nicely and courteously.It was very lovingly decorated for Christmas.Everything together is just perfect!Price/performance TOP!We'll be back!

Innkeepers were helpful and nice. The food was good. I was looking for spontaneous and cheap accommodation. Unfortunately the bed linen wasn't fresh, which is a must, even for a cheap place to stay. A trash can in the room would be recommended. There are plus points for the lake and wellness forest.

Our stay from October 6th to 9.10.2022 was very pleasant in this hotel. Starting from the nice welcome, even though we hadn't booked, to the rich breakfast and the delicious dinner. Portions are for those who are very hungry and are definitely not out of a bag. And the waiting time is no longer 15 minutes. And you can sometimes wait a little longer for good food.

Great location, close to beautiful hiking trails in the beautiful Black Forest. After a wonderful walk or a decelerating hike, you want a delicious refreshment. Maybe something sweet to round off the day in the forest - unfortunately the Café Hotel Waldsee in Lützenhardt is not suitable for this. Our order (1 water, 1 apple spritzer, 1 apple cake and 1 scoop of strawberry ice cream) was served as quickly as possible within 15 minutes. The reason for this was certainly the extremely high restaurant occupancy (another table occupied by five people, otherwise empty). The cool drinks from the luxury brand Freeway could not console the “taste” of the “apple cake” or the ice cream cone.The apple pie came fresh from the oven, but it wasn't there to bake, but to defrost. The cake was baked at some point in the past, but not that much - in fact it was more like raw dough with cold apple pieces in it. The ice cream cone with the strawberry ice cream was lovingly prepared, understandably as we now know. The taste of the waffle showed it was the last of its kind, we suspect late 20th century.When we wanted to pay, it was a bit difficult to get service, although no new guests came in the meantime, but the total of 7 guests had already been served once, so that was enough.To be honest: I won't spend any more money there, it makes more sense to carry water to the stream!
