Dog poop in the playground area is not acceptable at all...!!The hotel was suitable for children, the dinner was like that, sometimes like that. As the boss said: "Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're unlucky." For a four star hotel - 3 nights / 6 adults / 4 small children / HB plus: 2,550 euros - that was a bit low for us.Breakfast was plentiful and good; With a second coffee machine you could have avoided queues. The adjoining “real farm” with cattle and horses was nice, where children and adults were allowed to help. The large swimming pool for the children is also nice. The Finnish sauna can accommodate a maximum of five people sitting. Unfortunately, she wasn't looked after attentively: at 5 p.m. there were no sauna/bathing towels or drinking cups left. The window sills of the relaxation room were covered in dead flies and fly droppings.Unfortunately, our double room was shabby and old-fashioned. The two family rooms were nicely renovated and large enough to accommodate parents with two children. We found it disturbing that free-roaming dogs massively defecated around the playground and were also on the playground. We were able to easily find five piles of feces in a narrow area immediately adjacent to the playground. A Kettcar was smeared with dog feces, so that a parent and a child completely soiled their pants. This is disgusting! When the boss, Mr. Wiefle, was asked about the dog poop, he was defensive and wasn't even prepared to say he was "regretful."It was incomprehensible to me that there was a small dog in the kids club that belonged to a teacher. My four and a half year old granddaughter, traumatized by dogs, didn't go to the club, so the children's program we had come for couldn't be used. We observed that this same dog also dropped his “mine” outside. However, I would like to mention that I was convinced by the work of the three teachers and that they looked after the children intensively and well. All in all: If you travel in the “Swans”, you have to know what you are getting yourself into. We wouldn't go there again under these circumstances. It's actually a shame, because with a little more empathy and attention for the guests it would be a nice place for children, parents and grandparents.

Great family hotel with a direct connection to the farm. If you love holidays in nature and for the kids, this is the right place for you.Went here with our two children and dogs (be careful, there are a lot of cats there) and were thrilled

Superb hotel. The rooms are very large, with balconies enjoying a superb view and very clean. The staff is super friendly, dynamic and takes great care of the guests, maybe just review the speed of serving drinks at the bar, but hey we were quite a large group so maybe not used to it...The cuisine is simply excellent, the dishes copious and tasty. The setting is one of total change of scenery; pastures, orchards, the family farm, the swimming pool, the bowling alley, walks around...An ideal place to spend a weekend...

We were there for lunch... so I can't say anything about the hotel itselfWe received a very friendly welcome and were shown our reserved table.Just sat down and the waitress came with the cards.Very friendly, attentive and on the ball. Never intrusive. There were four of us and the food came at the same time so we could start eating together. GREATThe food was really delicious, the meat was very tender and cooked to perfection.A clear recommendation for us.Price-performance is good 👍🏼

We were at. Lunch there was very tasty. I had the roulades and the creme bruuelle. There is something for children in the restaurantHotel sooo much alone, lots of toys, excavators and tractors to drive around. And lots of playgrounds. All the animals you can look at are also very exciting. On the toilet there is even an attachment for babies to use on the toilet and a small stool so that they can also get to the sink. The waitresses were very polite. If we are not here ourselves. If you lived in the Black Forest, it would be very nice to vacation here too. We were also able to look into the swimming pool and it looked very good

Our summer vacation at the Hotel Schwanen was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived the wonderful staff immediately made us feel at home. They were always friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.A highlight for us was the incredible children's program. The children were entertained and looked after in the best way, giving us parents some much-needed relaxation time. The activities were varied and exciting and the dedicated team were really fantastic with the children. The owners of the hotel are some of the nicest people we have ever met. Your warmth and hospitality were evident in every aspect of our stay. They were always there to chat, give recommendations and make sure everything was perfect. The hotel itself is outstanding and offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. However, what really sets it apart is the fantastic range of animals on site. Our whole family loved interacting with them, which added a unique and delightful element to our vacation. We left Hotel Schwanen with wonderful memories and a desire to return. Highly recommended for families looking for a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure!
