Outdated hotel with an attentive and friendly host.We were traveling by motorbike in the Black Forest and were looking for accommodation for one night with reasonable parking space for our motorbikes. We had this. Motorcycles could be parked in the inner courtyard on a straight, paved area (not covered)Room was okay, positive thing to mention are the mattresses. Arrival was very flexible, breakfast was okay, everything was there to fill you up, good simple filter coffee. If you're looking for frills, you're out of place here, but if you're looking for a simple overnight stay, a warm shower and a breakfast, it's okay for you. I would book here again if I was looking for 2 overnight stays for 3 beautiful motorcycling days at short notice

Stunning. If you are in the area and need accommodation, throw away your ID and report to a refugee shelter. You will be accommodated much better there. The rooms in the hotel are dirty and the bed collapsed on one side. Building materials are piled up in the hallway. You should get paid to stay there. If there were minus stars: they would be appropriate here.

Friendly service, but rooms, furnishings, etc. have not been renovated in this millennium. Rooms are relatively noisy. No hot water in the evenings. Public transport connections are practically non-existent. Insufficient internet bandwidth. Use mobile communications better.

I visited in September 2023 and am overall satisfied. It was quite warm and I can't comment on the cold room. The innkeeper was friendly and helpfulBreakfast was possible until 8:30. Even though I was always last, there was still a lot to eat. The walls are too thin. You can clearly hear what is happening in the next room. Some reviews here complained about dirt. I can not confirm. The room and shower were clean.WiFi was ok. O. The hotel is very difficult to reach on foot, especially from the Kurpark S-Bahn stop. You have to walk about 500 m uphill. You can take a bus from the Etzenrot stop.

Well, it looks good on the booking platform, the rest.. Arrived, a run-down flophouse, no one to be found in the house as only rooms are offered, the call would simply be ended with I'm in a meeting. Please, what's the point? Canceled immediately, it's not my job in the house. to find living, although there will be a lot of living, I think.In the future I would rather pay more, be in the center and probably get something for the money.In the future I will search on platforms, but I will definitely call directly.

The super friendly service makes up for the somewhat outdated charm of the house 😀. Rooms are clean, the bathroom could use some vinegar cleaner, but everything worked.We were in Etzenrot for a celebration and needed an overnight stay. It was perfect for that.

Absolutely not recommended. The rooms were very dirty, had insects in my bathroom, a small object disappeared without a trace. The only positive thing was the WiFi, which was at least relatively good, otherwise it was an absolute disaster

Once the treasure hunt problem to recoverthe keys were solved (the keeper was not present) and put them in the right door (03 and not 3), the rest was correct. . Large, clean German-style room with 4 single beds, (but only 2 were occupied) very comfortable, large bathroom but unfortunately, there is a lack (as in many bathrooms) of storage space! However, there is no shortage of space in this bedroom to put coat racks and shelves! We had to take a chair from the room to put our towels, clothes and toiletry bag!.The parking lot is not practical, sloping, narrow and full when I arrived....Decent breakfast, nothing more. A little expensive all the same for the services provided.
