Very good value for money. Small hotel with charm. Friendly service. Very clean. Good selection at the breakfast buffet.I don't understand why other guests weren't completely satisfied.

Very friendly and attentive staff.I left a piece of clothing behind and was called immediately. The rooms are well equipped and inexpensive. Location directly opposite the train station.

Slept there last night, it was average but some things would be better in my opinion. Everything was generally clean, and okay. The mattress was a bit soft to my taste and the pillow was very soft too. No air conditioning in the room I stayed in, and you can notice the age on the place but it was okay. The staff were nice and they spoke good English too.I recommend this place, it is close to the train station and to a major supermarket and is well located in terms of restaurants.

OK for one or two nights. The elevator is old and adventurous. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. Unfortunately, the hotel is close to the main train station and there are shady people there. Therefore the hotel is not for women traveling alone. The breakfast was also quite ok.

I can't recommend it. I left two bracelets in the room during the day, which were taken away after they had been cleaned up. When I asked, I received no further help. Showers are also pretty bad and the facilities are minimal. You'd better find something else and pack your valuables in case you end up sleeping there.

We are two couples who were taking a vacation through the really beautiful Musela Valley, since we were in the area we decided to extend it to the Black Forest, and we stayed at the Heidelberg Hotel Central for two nights, with the misfortune that our partner Angel had a heart attack and deceased, the health care was extraordinarily fast but unfortunately they could not do anything, the morning shift reception staff at the hotel acted at 10, but the unheard of thing is that upon returning from the hospital, which would have been around 4pm when we had left To the hospital at 7:30 in the morning they had not done the rooms, the deceased's room being completely full of all the waste and remains of the intervention of the toilets, we claimed that they could fix it and their response was that the cleaning staff only They work until 2 p.m., I ask for a complaint form and they tell me they don't have one, anyway, it's a shame we had to fix it ourselves.

I would give it 4 stars, but since the current rating is below 4...First the positive:+ Location is great, right next to the main train station+ Outdoor blinds allow you to sleep soundly at any time, it's really pitch dark inside if you want that+ You can bring your luggage earlier or pick it up later if you are in Heidelberg for a longer period of time+ Very nicely renovated rooms with a nice bathroom+ Price/performance ratio was rightNeutral fact on the side: In the 1.5 days we were there, there were at least 5 different receptionists on duty 😅 but they were all courteous, unfortunately not all of them spoke perfect German, which could be a problem for some guests, English is fine definitely throughPotential for improvement:- No telephone availability on the main number between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m- all receptionists should speak fluent German for guests who cannot speak English (after all, they are the only contact persons for the guests)Photos were taken when checking out: before that everything was neat!

The reception at this hotel closes at 9pm… this is not mentioned at booking… I was let inside by a guest… I called the phone number and got no response although I could hear it ringing… I don’t think this could be understood as a safe place …

I booked two nights and wanted to leave a day earlier. Room fine for just sleeping. The concept of the “shower screen” didn’t make sense to me. This is only "half", so when you (carefully) shower, half the bathroom is flooded. The ventilation in the bathroom runs for a long time and is quite loud. I find these clunky, heavy keychains unnecessary. Every time you unlock it, the metal on the door rattles (that's what it looks like). You also have to remember to lock it from the inside, which doesn't leave me with a good feeling about escape routes etc.The employee left an impression of being overwhelmed and annoyed by the guest. It is unacceptable for people to express their displeasure and complain in front of guests who have nothing to do with it.The location is fine and easy to reach, especially from the train station. I still won't book here again.

Danger!!!!! Please do not book. Some of the rooms are pretty run down. Bedside lamp has a loose connection and does not work. The hairdryer in the bathroom also has electrical problems. The food is absolutely not good, everything is cheap. The bathroom stinks of food because there is a ventilation built in that is connected to the kitchen.Think carefully about going there.

Absolutely not recommended! The mattresses are full of body fluids and associated pubic hair (see pictures). However, after 9 p.m. there is no one at the reception. If you then complain about the condition of the room, you will be asked why you didn't check it straight away. No interest in the guest, only in the wallet…. Very unfortunate.

Well located, but it can't do more than that... after showering the entire bathroom is under water, when I came into the room there was a strong smell of smoke and there was garbage lying around in the bathroom, the mattresses have never been changed since it opened, so it's that big Hollow that you keep rolling into, and there are 90cm beds, if you want space you definitely won't get it! The television also cannot be positioned so that you can watch it from the bed, as it always moves back to its original position because the bracket is worn out.For one night to catch your train the next day, that might be an option as it's really well located at the train station but for me, never again.
