Bad service, unfashionable and dirty rooms - not recommended!I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center in September 2024 and had several unpleasant experiences. What was particularly shocking was that another guest came into my room that night without warning - a massive security problem that greatly disrupted my stay. According to the receptionist it was a system error.Despite contacting me several times and trying to clarify the incident, I have not received a response to date. The customer service is simply disappointing. The room itself was in very poor condition: extremely unfashionable, dirty and full of defects. I found dead insects and even a tablet from the previous guest on the floor - hygiene doesn't seem to be taken seriously here. I have also attached photos of the conditions. The only positive thing is the location close to the city centerI definitely can't recommend this hotel!

From the moment I checked in, I was greeted by your incredibly friendly staff, which set the tone for a delightful stay. The room I stayed in was impressively spacious, providing ample space to unwind and relax. Additionally, the bathroom was spotless, which I greatly appreciated. It's always refreshing to find such attention to cleanliness. While my overall experience was fantastic, I did feel that the breakfast could use a bit of improvement. However, this did not detract from the overall positive experience I had at your hotel. One last feedback is please change the place of hanging the towels inside the bathroom, the reason is if the towels slip, it falls into an unpleasant place :)Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I look forward to my next visit.

The ideal option to visit Heidelberg, just 20 minutes away, and without excessive expense, but it turned out that Mannheim is also a very pleasant place with an excellent range of restaurants of all kinds at very good prices, certainly much cheaper than Heidelberg. The hotel, really a very good price, excellent quality of rooms, perfect cleanliness, comfort. We stayed in a room for 3 and we all slept wonderfully. And best of all was the warm and very efficient service offered to us today - 10/4/24 - by the receptionist of the day: she could not have been more understanding and kind. They even gave us a heater because it was cold. Highly recommended.

At 12:00 a.m. someone unexpectedly entered my room. It could have been a “system error”, but it still seemed different. At least two people in my group suffered damage to their cars because the parking garage is very narrow - the entrances are too flat and the curves are too narrow. A colleague's car was also broken into. Outside, I observed a teenager trying to force cigarettes out of a vending machine. The service was very friendly, but the "system error" and the entire situation bothered me. I don't want to go there again.

The location of the hotel is great. The room was large and the stay was short but pleasant. Would recommend it.

Mixed.First room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Was exchanged for a new room without any problems. The new room no longer smells like smoke, but it is a bit musty and had to be ventilated first. Both rooms are a bit tired and the whole hotel could use some modernization. Beds and breakfast are ok 3/5.140€ including breakfast for one person is too much.

The whole hotel looks old and run down. The rooms are a disaster! Dirt, stains and holes on the walls, the closet is already falling apart. Bed and door frames have never seen a cleaning rag, just disgusting! …

I have been to Mannheim several times and to this hotel three times. The reception and the employees are super nice. The room is nice and clean. The hotel is located right in the center, so there are many shopping opportunities nearby. The tram is also just a few steps away. I can definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Mannheim.
