We had a big birthday in the restaurant on September 14th, 2024 and I can only say, thank you. Thank you for what was agreed upon in advance and implemented in our interests. From the coffee table to the evening buffet, everything was fantastically prepared. A big thank you for the service in the shift system, there was always a smiling waiter at the table. If it happens again, we would be happy to come back to the Golden Heights. On behalf of the Uwe Ressel family

Was here for a class reunion. The team looked after us very well. The selection of food and drinks was good and everyone enjoyed it very much. That's why we spent a long time there and didn't leave until midnight. I'll definitely go there again.

Great celebration, especially the service staff are unbeatable. Simply recommended.

Food, service, everything was great. Nice with outdoor seating. And there is a playground for families with children.

We had booked a 3-bed room for one night in the guesthouse (2 adults / 2 children (1 & 4 years). The decision for accommodation was made because it was within walking distance of the event location (GeyersHaus children's concert), a children's party that day It was supposed to take place and, very importantly, there was a restaurant in the house. I called 3 days before arrival to find out the arrival time. I was told by phone that our children were particularly looking forward to the festival A little disappointed that it wasn't taking place, we decided to stay there anyway (small note: the festival was still advertised online and in the showcase). It was not possible to arrive after the concert at around 2 p.m. According to the kitchen help, the boss comes between 4 and 5 p.m. So we spent the time in the city (until 6 p.m.) and were happy to put our little sleeping daughter (1 year old) into bed and then, exhausted, have a cold drink and a warm meal to receive in the accommodation. Maybe even watch a European Championship game. So the perfect ending (mentally). Uh no, when we arrived there were lots of well-dressed people with bouquets of flowers in their hands. No food. Closed event (birthday of an elderly lady). We should go somewhere else to eat. Again, the note that we were traveling with 2 small children all day without a nap. Honestly. For 2 adults and a small tot there would have been a small difference and the beer was connected anyway. The weather outside was nice and the seats were free. So we wouldn't have disturbed the closed event. No accommodation. Even a bockwurst or a portion of fries would have been ok. No offer, nothing... my question: why we weren't told on the phone that it was a closed event was answered with the question: "You didn't ask". In the end we didn't spend the night there and moved on with our little disappointed kids. Stupid end to a beautiful day. In the end, the night probably wouldn't have been trouble-free anyway, but the way you deal with a family is borderline. With so much lack of understanding for our situation, it is also a good thing that there was no children's festival on site. One thing stinks to high heaven: a closed event because of an older lady's birthday? My mother booked the location for her 60th birthday 18 months in advance. In the end it was an accidental double planning (birthday/children's party) for the evening. No wonder when bookings are accepted by telephone without email or other correspondence while operations are ongoing and there is noise. Very unfortunate

We had booked the location for a big birthday with a ballroom and buffet.Everything was meticulously planned and implemented by the restaurant in advance! The surrounding area/area is ideal for families as there is a play area and a playground. The children had fun😊The rooms were perfect for the event, lots of space and everything was lovingly decorated by the staff.A big compliment went to the service staff and kitchen, very accommodating and friendly, but not intrusive, exactly as you would expect.The food at the buffet was extremely tasty and really adequately priced.The Golden Heights is definitely worth one or more visits!

Just had a quick drink and something to eat here. We were very pleasantly surprised and everything was to our satisfaction.
