Neat campsite, excellent clean sanitary facilities. Very expensive for what it is. Barrier remains open at night. You can cycle to the center via a nearby cycle path (7 km). The tram is within walking distance (1.5 km), lines 10 and 11 go to the center.

We rented a log cabin for one night, the price is not justified. When you open the door it smells like the sanitary facilities. You would have to close the door to the sleeping area otherwise the smell would be carried over so something definitely needs to be done. The staff is very friendly for you At night the closet in the sleeping area also smelled strongly because you couldn't put things in it

Big thanks to the team at Campingpark Knaus, we felt very comfortable with you. The employees were very nice and competent and our special requests were promptly fulfilled. The log cabin was very clean and spacious, with a fridge and great heating, a real blessing in the bad weather (-: we also had a parking space right in front of the door, what more could you want. The entire park area was also very clean and well maintained.It was very easy to get from the park to the city using public transport, so there was no stress about driving and looking for a parking space in the city. We will definitely come back 👍

We have been here several times for short trips. A nice, quiet place. You can reach the center in 15-20 minutes by bike. The sanitary facilities are a bit old-school, but always clean.

A nice parking space in good proximity to Leipzig. The sanitary facilities are clean, the showers are spacious and the water is hot with good water pressure. We can't understand the negative reviews, we would come back and can recommend the place.

We (couple 56 and 55) were there for a week in September. The ladies in reception were very friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean. Everything a real camper needs is there. The latest generation of campers often has excessively high demands. If you want everything to be like home, the best thing you can do is stay there. I definitely don't understand the bad reviews.

Spent 2 nights on the campsite, 2 adults, 2 children and 1 dog €58/night, paid in October! Roads on the site are in urgent need of repair! Pitches large enough, space very clean and well maintained! By bus and tram/S-Bahn about 30 minutes to the zoo/main station, overall the price is significantly too expensive!

UNFORTUNATELY Shameful for Leipzig Sanitary facilities are totally run down cold water, At the reception totally unfriendly and unkempt, prefers to smoke when you want to register, And you understand almost nothing because German isn't even spoken properly, We have 2 for one night Adults and 9 children paid almost 100 euros without WiFi!! Definitely not recommended

We had booked 2 nights in one of the Finn huts. The reception was very nice and the place itself is ok. However, the bad surprise came in this hut. It smelled extremely musty and like mold. Even airing it out for hours didn't help. We ended up spending the night in the car. The next morning we spoke to the employee about it. She was also totally embarrassed because the topic had already been known about for months. We were then offered one of the log cabins for an additional charge and an additional final cleaning fee. This one was a little better, but it had the charm of 1970 and wasn't much better. We don't see the need to give this company more money for their incompetence. We then left early. The health department would have to take a look at it.

Very old and neglected campsite. Incredibly run down place that is not maintained. The showers and toilets are from the 80s. The paths are almost across the entire area, etc... and unfortunately it's not really clean either because no cleaner cleans the rooms regularly. Rolls are just baked rolls for €0.75 a normal roll. We still had to bake these.No more money is invested here. What a shame! We would only come back in an emergency if we can't find a better place nearby.

We were there in mid-July. The front desk staff was very nice!The sanitary facilities are already getting old and the water in the shower doesn't drain well! The storm damage to the roofs, which were only cordoned off with tape, was astonishing; it felt like you were on a construction site. Actually unacceptable for the price. The place is very expensive, we paid €44 per day for a motorhome with 2 people! You really don't want to go on boat tours on the nearby lake, the lake is biologically dead and stinks!We won't go there again!
