I was in the guesthouse for the European Championship weekend. The location is great, very central in the middle of Karl-Liebknecht-Straße in the heart of Leipzig's southern suburbs. This means there is always something going on, but for me that was part of the atmosphere.Trams and buses leave right outside the door and you can be in Leipzig city center within ten minutes. The breakfast was extensive and the coffee was tasty. The value for money is exactly as I expected. It was clean and tidy, check-in went smoothly - even when I wanted to arrive after 6 p.m. Big praise and thanks to the owner

Sorry, I only have 2 exemplary photos to partially demonstrate what I found here.The owner is undoubtedly nice. If I had only had the room price in cash with me, which has to be paid immediately upon arrival, then the first problem would have already arisen, because the additional "spa tax" that was due had not been communicated to me in advance.When we entered the room, 3 moths flew up. My hope: if possible, don't take any of them home with you at the end. There was an unemptied ashtray on the small balcony, which fortunately you can use as a smoker.The faucet on the sink was simply glued in with silicone by some complete non-expert and always followed part of the movement of the swivel lever. I was worried whether the thing would survive my stay, but it did thanks to my extremely careful operation. Only one of the 2 wall lights worked, as did the 3 lights above the sink (see photos). To use the night light/reading light above the bed, I had to push the bed aside to get to the dangling plug and the virtually hidden socket. That looked a lot like “saving energy at all costs,” to put it charitably. The small television and receiver comes from a time ago?? Years ago, so that today hardly anyone can cope with the programming of the channels - because that was only necessary once you had discovered that an important plug was not plugged properly into the television!The bedding had small webs in some corners/edge areas, similar to dust mice, probably coming from moths or arachnids. I didn't use it and spent two nights in it in my day clothes to avoid physical contact.Yes, I would have loved to give a better review... Too bad.

The Pension am Südplatz is in a quiet location, the hostess is very friendly and very nice. Everything went wonderfully with the reservation, the room was also very nice and comfortably furnished... The bathroom and room were also very clean good...Nearby there are also many restaurants, shopping opportunities and also a very good connection to the tram, 2 minutes on foot you can also get to the city center very quickly...Thank you for the nice hospitality, it was very nice...

We booked during the WGT and are very happy with the accommodation. Despite the pub next door and the tram a hundred meters away, the holiday apartment is very quiet and we were able to sleep really well. Our two dogs were welcomed with pleasure. The operator is very nice and friendly.Two minutes to the train and therefore a direct connection to the city. It doesn't get any better.

Unfortunately not recommended at all for the price paid. In our case it was not possible to lock the room from the inside, so as an "emergency solution" a latch was screwed on from the inside extremely clumsily, which could have been easily broken off again with a little body pressure from the outside.Lots of dirt under the mattresses, champagne corks, nut shells etc., curtains with traces of lipstick.We also had to order a new bed sheet :/At least the bathroom was clean and the operator was friendly.Nevertheless, the first impression, when you walk through a hallway that smells of cigarette smoke and a narrow, untidy passage to the room...we were happy when we left the room in the morning.

We had rented the apartment for one night, unfortunately that turned out to be a mistake! We've never seen anything like it. Dirt and dirt!!! There aren't even spoons, large or small, in this "holiday apartment". Never again.

The guesthouse is centrally located with good public transport connections. Transport to the city center, near the university clinic. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.The landlady has an open ear for every problem and answers many of the questions that concern you.The guesthouse is getting old, some things need to be renovated, but the rooms and the house are clean and lovingly furnished. You can brew coffee in the morning and use the refrigerator and microwave.Well suited to visiting Leipzig or a relative in the hospital.I had a good time there and would stay there again.

A lovely, perfectly organized guesthouse.Booking is easy and you can even check in yourself.The room, the bathroom and the hallways are absolutely clean, the furnishings have taken every need into account and environmental considerations are also represented here.It takes around 20-30 minutes to get to the city center and public transport is absolutely accessible with a short walk of around 10 minutes.There are also shops within walking distance, as well as restaurants.The operators are absolutely friendly and helpful and I can only warmly recommend this house to anyone looking for somewhere to stay overnight in Leipzig.

Lovely and dingy furnishings, bed linen and towels smelled very strongly and unpleasantly of fabric softener, the fittings in the bathroom were broken, overall the guesthouse gives a dreary and untidy impression. Despite the cheap price, I wouldn't book there again.
