The Waldschänke is beautifully located in Cavetitz, a district of Reudnitz near the Dahlener Heide. Several hiking trails through forests and fields begin right at the hotel/restaurant. In summer, an outdoor seating area at the forest pond is open.The restaurant is inviting and lovingly furnished. There is enough space for family celebrations or company events. The menu has something for every taste.Cooking courses take place regularly with seasonal themes. A visit is worth it.

Deliberately drove here and ate very well and comfortably. We would have liked to have wandered through the Dahlener Heide a bit longer - unfortunately ☔️Service relaxed and relaxed, despite the house being full. That rubbed off on us; we were very relaxed. The plates look good and everything tasted good.But why isn't everyone using the parking lot 200 m in front of the restaurant? People 200 m!!!!! Can you do that?

Very good cuisine, take some time to slow down.Deer burgers and roast deer were absolutely top. In addition, a very good reinforcement from today in the service team.

There were 9 of us eating there. Which was delicious again. However, the ambience is not so sparkling now. We were invited but personally I wouldn't go there just because of the outdated atmosphere. 80s art deco... No thanks.

Today we were on a motorcycle ride in the restaurant and were served by a very nice gentleman. The food was amazing and so delicious. The atmosphere is super modern with a touch of rural influence. We will recommend it and will definitely come back

Unfortunately I can't rate the rooms because I was with the Pelzer family for a day with a tour group, lunch was very good, coffee and ice cream sundaes were very good, Mr Pelzer also goes on guided hikes through the Dahlener Heide.

The idyllic Waldschänke Reudnitz is quietly and dreamily nestled in the middle of the Dahlener Heide and invites you to linger, enjoy and take a little time out.The food is very tasty and has something for everyone.From game to fish but also vegetarian dishes, which are offered at reasonable prices, everyone gets their money's worth.The staff is very active, friendly and attentive.The beautifully located beer garden by the lake also invites you to linger.Our recent family celebration in the Waldschänke was simply perfect and made the celebration unforgettable for everyone.All we can say is... Highly recommended 👌🥰

Cozy restaurant with friendly hosts and excellent cuisine, surrounded by beautiful forest not far from Riesa, Oschatz, Dahlen, Wurzen and Leipzig.The menu is clear and offers a selection of dishes from home-style German cuisine to suit every taste and whether you are hungry, big or small. We chose dishes from the asparagus menu. After a reasonable wait with freshly tapped beer, the dishes were lovingly arranged on the table in front of us and tasted excellent. Kudos to the kitchen staff. We really enjoyed our first visit to this gem in the middle of the Dahlener Heide. We would be happy to come back and wish the innkeepers continued to have guests as satisfied as we are.
