Lovingly renovated manor house with endearing charm. Run family business with modern and very clean rooms. Nice guest contact. Right on the Mulde and a nice ferry house to stop off at.

For breakfast there were fresh strawberries and sliced ​​melon. That is true love for the guest. Also incredibly delicious rolls.And the rooms are so great and lovingly furnished!The ferry across the Mulde is right behind the house...

Very nice property with renovated rooms in a quiet location. We booked two rooms so we could explore Leipzig and the surrounding area. Very friendly landlady and a great breakfast. We and our 3 children really enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

We were in Bennewitz/Leipzig for a funeral.The manor house is located in a very quiet district, about half an hour from Leipzig and is like in a paradise between forests, the river Mulde and is absolutely recommended!People who are looking for peace and quiet are in perfect hands here.The mansion has an impressive interior. As soon as your foot crosses the threshold you immediately have a “wow feeling” and think you are in a museum.Like a little journey back in time to the 16th/17th century. Century...We were greeted very friendly and the check in was very relaxed and pleasant.😊Explanations and a tour of the house came immediately, without being asked. We were even allowed to specify a desired time for the rich breakfast... "that the coffee would be fresh on the table," we were told!😅Real wooden floors, high stucco ceilings and old double windows impress immediately when you move into the room.The furniture is also visually very suitable (like from the original period) and made of solid wood.Everything was clean and very nicely decorated. The bathroom is modern and functional.I would particularly like to highlight the beautiful little park.There is a terrace with a refrigerator around the corner from which you can take cold drinks. Drink prices are very cheap...almost passed on to the purchase price!The park can be reached via a beautiful old staircase.Bobby cars, balls, a small soccer field and a playground invite children to play outside.A path through the complex leads through a metal gate directly onto a path in the immediate vicinity of the Mulde river. It's a lovely place to take a walk while admiring the flora and fauna. There is a small jetty for ferry and boat trips.Our conclusion it is suitable for everyone! No matter whether for families with children, people who want peace and quiet or who want to experience and discover Leipzig but don't want the dirt and noise of the big city.We will be back definitely!

We were at a wedding reception in the Schmölen manor house. The property is in a very quiet location surrounded by meadows and numerous trees. There is a small playground in the area behind the house, and in front of the house, directly on the other side of the street, there is another playground. So very child-friendly. There are several spacious rooms available for overnight stays. In addition to a cozy double bed (super comfortable!), our room also had a sofa bed and a bunk bed for children. The furnishings seem a bit rustic, but the bathrooms are modern. Inside, the house offers several beautifully designed and large rooms as well as a huge self-catering kitchen. The staff here has been very friendly and accommodating.
