Honest 3 star hotel, but nothing more. The house is centrally located and advertises itself as a bicycle hotel. The storage options for bicycles are limited to a single garage, which is also filled with other things. That was very tight when the bikes arrived later. Breakfast is very okay for the price! Our room was large with a modern marble-tiled bathroom. The room itself is getting old.

We stayed there in the guesthouse for 15 days. Very nice, modern room, unfortunately not enough storage space for a longer vacation.Very good breakfast buffet, very hygienic, a really great telebuffet - you rarely find it on this scale.

We stayed at the Wittlers Hotel for the second time and are very satisfied.We are particularly enthusiastic about the breakfast buffet. Everything is fresh, portioned in small jars so that no one has to dig into the salads or butter. Everything was there and the boss personally ensured everything ran smoothly and even brought tea and coffee to the table. We would be happy to come back.

A nice, cozy hotel with friendly staff, very family run. Breakfast includes a delicious fruit salad in a glass, which I particularly like, everything else is also delicious, especially the grain rolls for breakfast. We ate here once in the evening and you could tell that it was cooked "correctly", the hollandaise for the asparagus was homemade and not out of a bag!!! Very, very delicious!!! We would come back at any time, it was very nice here.

The location is ideal, very central, with a beautiful view of the roofs of the old town and the water. I couldn't find our room/furniture in the photos on the website. It was clean, but old, the bathroom had obviously been renovated, but the first silicone joints were black, the door lock of our room had obviously been forced open before, as if someone had kicked in the door and provided with makeshift screws. It did its job. What really bothered me was the advertising of parking spaces. First statement from the staff... Parking spaces are only available to certain rooms. Second statement from the staff...we're sorry, the city took away places from us just this week, third statement...I've never heard of that, we still have a second hotel and you should definitely get a place there find.The end result was that we parked our car outside the center, about a 30-minute walk away, even though our partner was seriously ill, which was incredibly difficult when climbing up and down to the third floor so as not to risk a parking ticket.Partner doesn't speak fluent German, but understands every word. It's very shameful when my partner is sent away from reception with the words, 'You don't say hello here' and 10 minutes later I'm greeted with hello.

I can't judge the rooms because they use food. We were there and the food was again very good. There was duck with Brussels sprouts and roast venison with red cabbage and croquettes

Patchwork is a great AND, above all, delicious addition to the city. Delicious food, very friendly service and the chef and the hotel owner also honor the guests. A well-rounded affair at reasonable prices. The dessert was extremely rich. 1++++

Went for Christmas brunch, everything was very tasty and plentiful. The service was particularly friendly and every wish was fulfilled immediately. We felt very comfortable and will definitely recommend it to others. 😊😊

After the Hubertus Mass we were there in the cathedral to have a leisurely meal.The staff is very attentive, friendly.The house dog is also a friendly representativeYou will be presented with a clearly manageable menu.The dishes come quite quickly, are very well prepared (you can't help but notice) and are extremely tasty and delicious.There is also a very good selection of drinks, whether wine or beer.The atmosphere is very homely, bright and cozy.Highly recommended for hungry people who value quality.

First of all, I really can't recommend this hotel to anyone! When I checked in and entered the room, I was initially shocked. I found a room that was just dirty. I've seen chewing gum in corners and walls. Let's not even talk about the dust that I found in layers on all the furniture. When I saw the toilets, the inedible food from the restaurant almost came up. There were an abundance of silverfish in the bath. I didn't want to sleep in this room at first, but because I had to stay there on business. Conclusion, I will never go to this hotel again. Every youth hostel is better

The service and the hotel overall was unacceptable. I was very dissatisfied with my vacation which led to me leaving a few days early. I would book a different hotel next time in Ratzeburg. I don't want to have such a bad holiday experience again... Since Ratzeburg is actually relatively beautiful, this hotel ruined the whole holiday. After a nice trip, on the way back you just think that you don't have the time to go to this hotel and room and sleep there. There are warm showers, but with water pressure worse than rain. I always wanted to keep my stay to a minimum. It was really bad. To conclude the review, I will never book in this overpriced hotel again, which is also endlessly dirty. That's why I don't recommend it to anyone else under any circumstances.

I stayed in this hotel for several days. Every day I ate in this restaurant several times to know that it is a nightmare for anyone who loves their life. The rooms stink and are very old. In addition, everything is more than just dirty: there was hair and silverfish in the bathroom and the carpet was full of stains. Among other things, the bedside table was covered in dust. However, the highlight was not the cold egg at breakfast, unfriendly staff or the inedible food. No, there was a used K*ndom under my bed. If I wasn't dependent on the room, I would have left the hotel (if you can call it that) straight away! Furthermore, every evening I was very annoyed by older people who talked loudly about their love lives in front of the hotel. Noise nuisance from small children and babies is included.
