Magical!The domes are really cool, you have a crazy view of the jungle, plus they are clean, which is very important.The bathroom is nothing special, but clean.The only negative flaw is that the hot water is not enough to fill the bathtub, so forget the idea of a nice hot bath, the water will barely be lukewarm.Very good breakfast, for dinner you have to order what you want an hour before as it will be picked up from a restaurant in the city, but it was still good and arrived hot.Possibility of a nearby trek to see 5 waterfalls, possibility of renting a scooter.I recommend not bringing bulky luggage as the path to get to the hotel can only be reached on foot or by motorbike, the owner carries the suitcases on the motorbike up to the rooms while you follow him on foot.Overall still a good hotel.

Short stay of 1 night as a couple, nothing to complain about, the view/the service/the bubble room/everything was to our taste!One of our best experiences in Bali, it was well worth going over our budget just to experience this, looking forward to coming back and thank you Samy.

Exceptional place in a corner of greenery and tranquility at the foot of the rice fields. Small downside to justify my 4 stars.... The road to get there is more than narrow and bumpy 😱 ending up on 200m on foot on a piece of trail.Thanks to Sami for transporting our suitcases on his scooter from the street to our room.

I am in love with this experience! The tent/dome is absolutely lovely. Outside of the dome you have your own little flat with an updated, clean bathroom and a stand-alone bathtub with hot water as well as a place to hang out. Take a bath in the night, turn off the lights and watch the stars! Sami brought me hot tea to enjoy and I was able to order dinner to my room (the chicken satay was great, fried banana for dessert). I’m so impressed with how clean everything is as well as the design of the place. It’s so cute I want to live here! There is even a/c air conditioning and a tv if you want a movie night. Sami took wonderful care of me and was available for any questions. He was very thoughtful and made me feel at home.The one thing that could improve is no fault of Moondock; it’s just that the neighbors at the top of the mountain like to play loud music in the early evening and in the morning which slightly interrupts how peaceful the sounds of nature are otherwise. However, it was for a short period and didn’t affect my stay. Maybe they could ask the neighbors if they’d be willing to keep the volume at low?

Amazing view. Rice terrace and mountains. Moondock village is 1,5 km away, you can walk.Great service. Very hospitable host.Nice and comfortable design. All the necessary included.Awesome breakfast.Safe and calm feelings inside.Sami, you’re the best :)

accommodation with breathtaking views of the Munduk forest, adorable staff, far from the hustle and bustle of the south of the island. The perfect place to recharge your batteries! Note that it is very isolated in a region with little tourism.

This was a very nice stay. The room was clean, the shower was hot and clean, and the privacy was outstanding. They provided great service, bringing food in from the local village. The room is unique and romantic, with great views straight from the bed.

Unfortunately I was dissappointed considering the high price and reviews. I was in room 2, which has much worse views than cabin 1, only to some trees and a bit of mountain. Hot water was insufficient to fill the bathtub, at best is a slightly warm bath. Not fire at night, in fact there was rubbish on the firepit. Very limited food menu, and several items were not available. It is quite far of the principal road, but still very noisy with loud music from neightbours late/early at night. Overall, quality was worse than some places in Bali that were half of the price. The upside is that the staff was very nice, and close to ricefields.

Not recommendable. A clear example of what you order from AliExpress vs what you receive.Pros:The staff is very friendly, rice terrace nearby, Android TV and air conditioning in the room, Instagram photos guaranteed.Against:The hot water was not enough to fill the bathtub, the windows were broken, dampness on the bathroom ceiling, the food was ordered at home (they gave it to us in boxes and we saw how he came on a motorcycle with it), on top of that they did not have everything of the menu, there is a karaoke nearby and they are singing until late hours and at 6 am they woke us up.Do not use their transfer, it is expensive and on top of that they lost us and I had to be the one to guide the guide.

We really regret that we were only there one night. The view is breathtaking. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and really clean. The owner takes very touching care of his guests. In addition to the integrated breakfast, you can also order cheap food. The food is freshly prepared and delivered and is really tasty. A super idyllic place that we heartily recommend. :)

Amazing place to spend the nights in Munduk. The views are incredible and the rooms are equipped with all kinds of furniture. Sami, the man who manages it, is super attentive and makes your stay feel like being at home. Very complete and tasty breakfasts.

Very nice place and service.I was surprised how they took care of all the details.There is everything you want, like in a 5-star hotel.The view is incredibleThe outdoor bath is greatThis is a really great placeI read other reviews and will add my comment to them:1.- Breakfast is great. Lunch and dinner - if necessary, they have a menu and everything will be brought and prepared for you. You will not remain hungry!2.- The last 100 meters for riding a moped if you don't ride much - really difficult, BUT the staff will gladly get behind the wheel and bring you your scooter.It's really a very nice place, also the staff is super.I am satisfied!

2 exceptional nights lost in the middle of the jungle and the mountains, a unique, rejuvenating and comfortable experience (wifi, hot bath, top-notch bedding and accessories). Sami is an incredible host, always attentive, responsive, he will respond to all your requests and above all, so calming. It makes this place even more magical.
