Good Morning,We were very happy that we got a room for one night. But I can't recommend the room for a week. The rooms and furnishings are very outdated and smell unpleasant. Chairs were dirty and the corners were also dirty. When you come into the bathroom you feel like you are in a spaceship, a small plastic cabin from the eighties. 120 euros We personally don't think the standard is correct for one night. The restaurant and staff were very nice. Nevertheless, kind regards to Ms. Wohlfahrt

The breakfast was quite okay. Not far to the beach and promenade. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are advertised as having a sea view. We had booked two rooms, the first on the ground floor, where you had a view of the umbrellas from the restaurant, the room on the second floor, where you had a view of the trees and if you tried hard you could see the water shimmering through. The rooms themselves are no longer up to date either. It's just a shame how they put something like that in, the hotel is very run down and no longer up to date. You can tell that nothing is being invested. The pictures of the hotel are very edited when you see them in the original. It's a shame you can't post photos here.

Unbelievable, the photos when booking via an internet portal and the sobering reality. First of all, it's nice that there are enough parking spaces at the hotel. Registration was quite easy and our room 3 on the mezzanine floor was easy to reach. The outdated furnishings, worn furniture, curtains that unfortunately fell from the ceiling when they were closed. The bathroom, a plastic container that was getting old. Crunchy corners in which the staff certainly cannot easily clean, even with great effort. The room was being cleaned up while we were having breakfast; it smelled of disinfectants so we had to open the windows immediately. The location is great, the attached restaurant made a great breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful. Nevertheless, the hotel is not recommended! The tenant does not invest because he only receives a contract for one year and cannot plan - which is understandable. Obviously a gold mine for the owner!

We had a double room with a sea view. We were completely satisfied with the service, clean, tidy, friendly and courteous. We can recommend the hotel at any time. The location is great, everything is within walking distance.

As many have already described, the house is a bit old, but still very tidy, well-kept and clean. The only drawback is the prefabricated bathroom, which was installed later and is a bit too small. But if you want something better, you just have to spend more money, because the Hotel Ostseestern has a reasonable price/performance ratio and a central location directly on Ostseeallee. The sea view is also the same as in other "well-known" hotels in/on Ostseeallee if you stay on the lower floors. This is, in the truest sense of the word, due to the nature of the matter. That means the piece of coastal protection forest between Ostseeallee and the Baltic Sea.What else is there to say? The entire staff is super nice and accommodating. Wishes expressed in advance or telephone arrangements are fulfilled and other “sensitivities” are also responded to quickly. Breakfast buffet is absolutely sufficient. It is changed daily, everything is there and replenished promptly. Certainly subjective - but the coffee is really tasty. Free parking spaces are available behind the hotel, which is no longer a given these days.Oh yes. The restaurant on the ground floor, which also functions as a breakfast room, closes at 10 p.m. Then the “noise nuisance” mentioned will be over. So - you can do it.

Charming, somewhat outdated hotel with a unique location. The rooms are spacious, only the bathroom - which was installed later - is very small.Very friendly service. It is cleaned thoroughly and carefully. The excellent breakfast should be highlighted. The Famagusta restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious Cypriot dishes. We will definitely come back because we felt very comfortable ☺️
